Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 1209

"That's right. There may be another piece of royal yellow stone in it."

The crowd still had some doubts about Damir's abilities, but when it came to Wrenn's words, they were fully convinced. Anyone who could be called a stone betting master had skills that couldn't be questioned.

The reason they hadn't started their own guild was that all the major Stone Guilds had already made arrangements. If stone betting masters were allowed to bet on stones themselves, there wouldn't be anything left for the others.

Lydia's expression changed when she heard that.

Damir turned to her with a smug look. "I let you off easy last time. But this time, let's see how you're going to escape from my grasp."

"Don't get too ahead of yourself. What if the rough stone Mr. Wilder picked is even better than yours?" Lydia shot back defiantly. Despite her words, her eyes betrayed her worry. She knew the chances of that were slim.

"Then, I'll make sure you eat your words. When the results are in, we'll see if your mouth is still as sharp."

Damir scoffed, then turned to Sebastian and continued, "Brat, even Mr. Hopkins says that my choice is a good one. I suggest that you admit defeat now and save everyone the trouble."

Sebastian stood with his hands behind his back and smiled faintly. "Do you think I couldn't beat you, even if I choose one with my eyes closed?"

Damir burst out laughing. "You're full of yourself, brat. Since you think you're so great, why don't you pick one and show us?"

Sebastian smiled. "Since you don't believe me, how about we raise the stakes?"

"What do you want to add to the bet?" Damir asked, intrigued.

"The loser has to kneel, bark like a dog, and admit they were wrong," Sebastian said with a grin.

Damir laughed mockingly. "If you want to be my dog that badly, I'll make it happen. Hurry up and pick one."
