Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 826

"They've disappeared too."

Sebastian frowned deeply, his worry growing.

He had already encountered two demonesses, who, despite being severely weakened, were still able to unleash the power of a demigod.

Among their group, he was the only one capable of fighting them off.

Lillian was fortunate. She had encountered the two demonesses without having her blood drained, which was a stroke of luck.

Perhaps they had discovered through her memories that he possessed the power of a demigod, making his blood a more enticing target.

But, who knew if there were more demonesses lurking around? If the others encountered one, they might not be as lucky as Lillian.

"We need to find them."

Sebastian grabbed Lillian's hand as they headed toward the mountain ahead. If they couldn't locate the others, perhaps disappearing together would help them reunite.

However, it was a dangerous gamble because they didn't know where they would be transported.

Still, without doing this, he had no idea where to search for them.

As they walked, Sebastian suddenly felt a strange energy underfoot. It was as if a vortex with an immense pull had formed out of nowhere, dragging him in with overwhelming force.

He couldn't resist it. Since he was holding Lillian's hand, she was pulled in as well.

It felt like either a moment or several minutes passed before the force finally disappeared. They landed on solid ground, but the scenery around them had completely changed.

They were now surrounded by towering trees, each stretching over a dozen feet high with lush and dense branches. The enormous canopies were like giant umbrellas, blocking out the sky.

Birds sang from the branches, and not far off, a rabbit darted through the undergrowth, the air alive with the vibrancy of spring.

"Are we… out?" Lillian asked in disbelief as she looked around.

She wasn't alone. Gina and all the others who had vanished earlier were there too, even the group from the Infernal Gate.

Seeing everyone, Sebastian breathed a sigh of relief.

Apart from Lillian, everyone else had been directly transported out of the dead zone.

The fact that Lillian hadn't been transported with them was likely the work of the two demonesses.

Just as the group was exchanging words, a giant beast, resembling a tiger but several times larger, suddenly charged at them. Its speed was incredible, and its gaping maw could easily swallow a whole person.

"Everyone, be careful!"

Bruce reacted quickly, sending a powerful palm strike toward the beast and knocking it back.

However, the beast's resilience exceeded their expectations. It immediately got back on its feet and charged at them again.
