Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 854

"Sebastian Wilder!"

As soon as the man heard it, an intense killing intent radiated from him.

Although it lasted only a moment, it sent shivers down the spine of the gatekeeper apprentice, who thought to himself, "As expected of a senior from the Lacuna Sect. Just his aura alone makes it hard for me to breathe. I can't even muster the slightest will to resist. That kid is as good as dead."

The man's name was Theodore Sheffield. As he walked out, he instructed, "Sebastian is Lana's husband, right?

"Spread the word. I want everyone to witness how I will crush him under my feet!"

The gatekeeper apprentice immediately grasped his intention. "That's brilliant, Mr. Theodore! If you trample Sebastian underfoot in front of everyone, not only will they see how powerful you are, but Sebastian will be utterly humiliated.

"It's killing two birds with one stone! But won't Ms. Lana be upset when she finds out?"

Theodore sneered. "This is a world where only the strong matter. Lana is extraordinary, and that worthless Sebastian doesn't deserve her!

I'll make sure Lana sees that only I am worthy of her."

"Absolutely, Mr. Theodore. I'll get on it right away." With that, the gatekeeper apprentice ran off to spread the news.

Theodore continued toward the entrance of the Lacuna Sect. He spotted Sebastian standing in the distance, and his gaze instantly sharpened.

Sebastian sensed Theodore's hostility but didn't know the reason. Nonetheless, he remained unfazed and stood calmly, waiting.

"Are you Sebastian?" Theodore demanded while looking down at him.

"Yes, I am. And who are you?" Sebastian responded.

Puffing out his chest, Theodore declared proudly, "I am Theodore Sheffield, the lead apprentice of the Lacuna Sect!"

Sebastian nodded calmly.

Theodore grew even angrier at Sebastian's composure. "What's your relationship with Lana?"

"I'm her husband," Sebastian replied indifferently.

"You're not worthy of her!" Theodore said coldly.

"And what does that have to do with you?" Sebastian's gaze remained unwavering.

Theodore's eyes flashed with contempt. "Lana is as beautiful as a goddess, and she's one of the elite apprentices of our Lacuna Sect. She's destined for greatness.

While Sebastian didn't fear the Lacuna Sect, both Lana and Harvey trained here. A major fallout would make it difficult for them to continue their training in peace.

So, he restrained his urge to lash out.

Nonetheless, Theodore continued to push, taking advantage of Sebastian's restraint.

"Listen, brat," Theodore declared, "Lana is my woman. I don't care what kind of relationship you had with her before, but from now on, you and she have nothing to do with each other.

"Leave immediately, or I won't be polite!" Theodore glared at Sebastian.

Maintaining his composure, Sebastian replied, "Out of respect for the fact that you and Lana are fellow apprentices, I've been patient with you. But don't push your luck!"

"So, you're refusing to leave?" Theodore's tone carried an unmistakable threat.

Sebastian folded his arms. There was a faint smirk appearing on his lips, then he closed his eyes.

Theodore's expression darkened further. "Fine, since you're refusing to back down, don't blame me for what happens next!"

With that, Theodore clenched his fist and threw a punch in Sebastian's direction from a distance, unleashing a wave of terrifying demigod energy.
