Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 856

Lana and Harvey had spent three years at the Lacuna Sect and were no longer naive newcomers. They understood well how powerful a three-star demigod was.

In their eyes, although Sebastian was strong, he was only impressive in their previous world and still had a long way to go compared to the geniuses of this one.

"Grab them and pull them away!" Theodore commanded the gathered apprentices.

"Forgive us, Ms. Lana!"

A group of apprentices immediately moved forward, forcefully dragging Lana and Harvey aside. Theodore wasn't just a senior apprentice in the Lacuna Sect. He was also the Chief Elder's grandson.

Hence, his words carried the weight of an imperial edict to ordinary apprentices.

As for Theodore's arrogance, the higher-ups chose to turn a blind eye, even if they knew about it. After all, in their eyes, a talented apprentice like Theodore was far more valuable than the average one, not to mention the Chief Elder's influence.

"Let me go!" Lana struggled fiercely, but it was in vain. She could only shout to Sebastian, "Sebastian, run away, quickly!"

"Yes, Sebastian, run! Live to fight another day!" Harvey echoed as his eyes filled with worry.

Sebastian, however, remained calm and unflinching. A mere Theodore meant nothing to him, and even if the entire Lacuna Sect attacked, he wouldn't be afraid.

Theodore sneered at Sebastian with an expression of mockery on his face. "I gave you a chance, and you didn't take it, so you've only got yourself to blame.

"But don't worry. After you're dead, I'll take good care of Lana. Before long, we'll be bonded as life companions, and I'll have her bear me a few strong sons."

Theodore grew more excited as he spoke, and he was unable to stop himself from laughing wildly at the end of his spiel.

"You're courting death," Sebastian said. His gaze was sharp and piercing, and there was a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

When he tried to pull his hand back, Sebastian's grip was like an iron clamp, holding him firmly in place. Despite using all his strength, he couldn't budge an inch.

"Die!" Theodore roared in both anger and fear. With his free left hand, he swiftly pulled out a dagger from his storage space ring and thrust it toward Sebastian's stomach.

The storage space ring was worth a fortune. Although Theodore's was one of the smallest kinds, it still cost a thousand spirit stones.

To put it in perspective, a three-person family could survive a year on just a few spirit stones. For an average demigod, such a ring was an unattainable luxury, far beyond their reach.

This particular ring had been a gift from Theodore's grandfather.

Despite the storage space ring's high cost, it offered great convenience. It allowed items to be stored effortlessly, enabling weapons to be carried at all times. Just like now, Theodore's sudden use of the dagger caught everyone off guard.

"Watch out!" Lana cried out in alarm.
