Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 908

By this time, the ordeal between Sebastian and Faylin had come to an end. They were both hurriedly getting dressed. Faylin's gaze toward Sebastian was filled with a mix of emotions.

She never imagined that the man who had saved her twice in times of danger would also end up sharing such an intimate moment with her on both occasions.

However, after her previous experience, this time she didn't feel as distressed. In fact, she even felt relieved that it was Sebastian who was with her again. The thought of any other man taking advantage of her made her feel sick to her core.

"How did you happen to be here?" Faylin asked once she had straightened out her clothes and faced Sebastian.

"I'm Leila's fiancé," Sebastian explained.

"What?" Faylin was taken aback. This news had already circulated within the sect. She had heard about it, but she never expected it to be Sebastian.

"Thank you for saving me," Faylin said after a moment of hesitation, though she found it somewhat ironic to thank the man who had also ended up in such an intimate situation with her, twice.

"No need to thank me. To be honest, I'm partly to blame for what happened. Leila wanted to set a trap for me, and you were just an innocent victim caught in her scheme," Sebastian replied.

Faylin shook her head, saying, "No, it wasn't just because of you. She's always been hostile toward me. Even if it weren't for you, she would have eventually tried to do something against me."

"Then, I suppose we're even now," Sebastian said. He paused before adding, "You should still be more careful in the future. This is the second time already, and you need to learn from these experiences."

Faylin gave a bitter smile. After the lesson she learned from the first incident, she had indeed been more cautious.

But this time, she had let her guard down because it was her closest friend who lured her into that isolated place.

Suddenly, a thought struck Faylin. She looked at Sebastian and asked, "What happened to that scumbag, Solomon?"

"I killed him. His body was probably devoured by wild beasts," Sebastian answered. He recalled that as he was leaving, he had sensed a predator lurking nearby, which made him assume that Solomon's remains would be taken care of by the creature.
