"Two little princesses, I truly didn’t wish to harm you, but I cannot defy the Queen’s commands," Sword Howl Tian sneered, a cold smile on his lips. "So, you might as well accept your fate."
With that, Sword Howl Tian quickened his pace, intending to capture the two sisters, Yi Ren and Si’er, at once. If he succeeded, perhaps the Queen would be pleased. And tonight, he, Sword Howl Tian, might become a guest in her bedchambers.
Just then, a voice called out, "Hey, do you have any idea you’re disturbing my sleep?" A little tyke jumped down from the high wall of Duke Guang’s Mansion, looking very unhappy. She had only just managed to fall asleep before being woken up. Good heavens! Do you have any idea how hard I had to try to get to sleep? The little tyke was furious, and the consequences would be severe.
The people from the Heavenly Sword Sect and the guards from the Royal Palace were shocked speechless. The one who had emerged wasn’t Wu Tian, but a child? What is this child doing here? Is she trying to get herself killed?
"Little one, I have no wish to kill today. Get out of my way."
Sword Howl Tian frowned as he looked at the little tyke. For some reason, he felt a terrifying sense of danger from this child. He didn’t want to believe it, but he had always been a cautious man.
"You’re telling me to get lost?" The little tyke grew even angrier. Her adorable, big eyes were beautiful, yet they turned as cold as ice. "It seems I’ll have to teach you a lesson before you realize what a fool you are."
The Heavenly Sword Sect disciples were stunned, their faces paling. What is wrong with this child? Can’t she see the situation? How dare she speak to Sword Howl Tian like that?
"Sword Howl Tian, don’t tell me you’re afraid of a child. Are you even a man?" the Queen raged when she saw him hesitating. How could a man like this end up in my bed? Would he be impotent?
The Queen’s words were a deep humiliation for Sword Howl Tian. His very manhood had been questioned—a blow that any man would find devastating.
Enraged, Sword Howl Tian waved the Jade Pure Kunlun Fan. However, he couldn’t control the wind’s direction, and a sudden gust shot toward his own Heavenly Sword Sect disciples.
"No!" the disciples cried out in horror, but they were powerless against the Jade Pure Kunlun Fan. Several were sent flying through the air, while others coughed up blood and died on the spot.
Still, a portion of the gust headed for the little tyke. The Wu Ji Xing Huang Flag appeared, shielding her. The moment the wind touched the flag, a Myriad Golden Lotuses bloomed, and the gale dissipated into nothingness.
"H-How is this possible?" Sword Howl Tian’s eyes nearly bulged from their sockets in astonishment. A child who isn’t afraid of the Jade Pure Kunlun Fan? But after taking a closer look, he understood. It must be the power of that little flag! He exclaimed aloud, "A Supreme Treasure! It’s another Supreme Treasure!"
A sudden realization dawned on him. "Our Heavenly Sword Sect ancestors possessed two Supreme Treasures!" he declared. "One is the Jade Pure Kunlun Fan, and the other is a small flag! That’s it, this has to be it! Return my Supreme Treasure at once!"
Sword Howl Tian’s claim left the little tyke stunned. The other Heavenly Sword Sect disciples exchanged glances, but after realizing what their Sect Leader was doing, they quickly played along.
"Yes, our founder had two Supreme Treasures."
"That’s right! I remember now, too!"
"How did a Supreme Treasure end up in the hands of a child?"
"Return it this instant!"
One after another, they pointed at the little tyke, demanding she return the treasure.
The little tyke was dumbfounded. Shameless. I’ve never met anyone so utterly shameless. The Heavenly Sword Sect... Does it even need to exist? She became furious and unleashed the power of wind and cloud. With the Empress’s protection, this power was so immense it seemed capable of shattering space itself.
The Heavenly Sword Sect disciples’ blood sprayed everywhere. Battered by the force of wind and cloud, they were covered in wounds and beaten to a pulp. They were completely outmatched. Forced back step by step, this sense of failure drove Sword Howl Tian to the brink of madness. He knew the Queen was watching, yet his performance was pathetic. Will the Queen still let me into her bedchambers now?
"Why is this happening?" Sword Howl Tian’s eyelids twitched uncontrollably, his eyes filled with absolute shock. No matter how I think about it, I can’t understand how a mere child could be this powerful.
The Queen, Si’er, and the others were also frozen in place. The wondrous nature of the Wu Ji Xing Huang Flag, as well as the little tyke’s Cultivation Technique, left them bewildered and speculating. What on earth is that magical treasure? They certainly didn’t believe the claim that it, too, was a magical treasure of the Heavenly Sword Sect. Moreover, the little tyke’s Cultivation Technique was clearly extraordinary, as it somehow rendered her invincible.
Just then, something even more terrifying occurred.
Scarlet blood splattered through the air!
The twin energies of wind and cloud coalesced into two Divine Dragons that instantly snuffed out Sword Howl Tian’s life.
"I... I haven’t even become king..." he stammered. "I... I... I never even became a guest in her bedchambers..."
With those final words, Sword Howl Tian died.
With their leader dead, the disciples of the Heavenly Sword Sect scattered to the winds.
The little tyke turned to the Queen and asked nonchalantly, "Are you that wicked old queen from the story who wanted to kill Snow White?"
