Si’er was furious and about to say something when a palace maid arrived to report that Wu Tian had come. Her smile immediately returned. "Quickly, invite him in." The palace maid departed and ushered Wu Tian inside.
"Si’er, I’m late. Do you blame me?" Wu Tian arrived with Qin Yuhan, the little fellow, and the others.
"I don’t, I don’t." Her big brother’s arrival seemed to make Si’er forget all about her earlier displeasure. She walked up, took Wu Tian’s arm, and said, "Big Brother, I’m happy just that you could come."
The other princes and princesses immediately turned their gazes upon him. Looking at Wu Tian, their joy was indescribable.
Thanks to the storytellers, the tales of Wu Tian’s deeds had spread like wildfire throughout the region. Now, they were finally seeing the man himself. How could they not be thrilled? Furthermore, Wu Tian’s refined and handsome appearance made them all secretly think, A true hero should look exactly like this. He was incredibly handsome in every aspect.
"Big Brother Wu Tian," an eleven-year-old princess from another nation summoned her courage, stepped forward, and said, "I am the princess of Longlu Country, a one-star power. It’s a pleasure to meet you."
"Me too!" Another girl worked up the courage and stepped up to introduce herself. "I am the eldest princess of the Yinnian Kingdom. I’m nine years old this year. Hello."
"Hello, I am the Umbrella Princess from the Jinyin Country."
"And me, and me! I am the eldest princess of the Qiguoguo Kingdom. It’s wonderful to meet you."
They came up one by one to introduce themselves.
Wu Tian replied helplessly, "Hello, it’s nice to meet you all."
None of these princesses were older than fifteen, yet they were already aware of romantic feelings, though it was merely a budding curiosity. Wu Tian could tell that they liked him, but it wasn’t love.
This guy really is handsome, the other princes thought with envy, hoping they would be as good-looking as Wu Tian when they grew up. That would be enough for them.
"He’s not that good-looking," Zhao Lan said, feeling uncomfortable again. "When I grow up, I’ll definitely be better-looking than him."
The other princes didn’t dare say anything else and could only agree, "Yes, yes, yes."
Zhao Lan, being only ten, couldn’t detect their insincerity and simply felt it was only natural. He believed that he, Zhao Lan, was destined to be more handsome than Wu Tian. The only reason he couldn’t compare right now was because Wu Tian was older. In another ten years, I’ll definitely become more and more handsome, eventually even more refined than Wu Tian, he thought, standing tall with his chest puffed out.
Wu Tian paid him no mind. How could I possibly argue with a ten-year-old? Still, I hope this child doesn’t go too far. Otherwise, the only path for him is death.
But Zhao Lan failed to realize this. He approached Wu Tian on his own, extended his hand, and said, "I’m very glad to meet you." The child didn’t hide his thoughts. His face wore a proud smile, giving off the impression that his willingness to shake hands was an honor being bestowed upon Wu Tian.
Wu Tian shook his head and said, "I don’t want to meet you."
"You..." Zhao Lan gritted his teeth, wanting to rush forward and fight Wu Tian.
"Stop!" Several princes from other nations who were close to him in age—around eight, ten, and eleven years old—hurriedly held Zhao Lan back.
"Don’t go over there, he’s very powerful."
"That’s right, don’t attack him."
"My father said he’s incredibly strong. We mustn’t offend him."
Zhao Lan calmed down, and only then did the other princes let go.
SLAP!
Sea City Tower was a restaurant located in the sea, just off the beach at the border of the Heavenly King Domain. Ordinary people rarely went there to enjoy the food; to dine there, one had to be at least the master of a one-star power. As a princess, Si’er previously lacked this privilege. But now, she was a queen.
On the beach, a creature resembling a whale was waiting. Its entire body was made of rock, yet it could move. The group entered the mouth of the Stone Whale, which then swam down to the undersea restaurant.
This was Sea City Tower, a territory controlled by the Sea Clan where fighting was forbidden. The tower itself was situated inside a gigantic bubble, which the Stone Whale could enter without bursting.
Emerging from the mouth of the Stone Whale, the group took in the scenery. Qin Yuhan, the little fellow, and the others were all stunned.
Sea City Tower? Ten thousand years have passed... I never thought such a small place could have a restaurant like this. I wonder how the great world I once knew has changed? Wu Tian thought to himself.
He had first come to the Immortal Emperor Realm during the period after the Creation Martial Emperor disappeared. Back then, professions like Pill Masters and Array Masters didn’t exist. The four Immortal Emperors had received the Mandate of Heaven to become Immortal Emperors only due to their great contributions to the Human Clan.
I left some legacies in this realm... The Daoist School, the Buddhist Sect, and the Mo Clan all originated from me. As for the Hundred Schools of Thought, I only knew a little about them at the time, mostly from modern-day novels and anime. I simply spread what little I knew. Now, after ten thousand years, I wonder what they have developed into.
"What’s wrong?" Concerned about Wu Tian, Qin Yuhan noticed his unusual expression and asked.
"It’s nothing." Wu Tian smiled faintly. "I was just reminiscing about the past."
Hearing Wu Tian say it was nothing, Si’er also breathed a sigh of relief. She then played the host, saying, "Everyone, please come inside. I’ve booked the Heaven-grade room. Let’s go in and taste some delicacies. I’ve heard that in ancient times, the Human Clan didn’t care much about what they ate, as long as it was edible. It was the Wutian Celestial Emperor who eventually created the culinary arts, teaching the Human Clan that food could be prepared in countless delicious variations!"
Everyone went inside and discovered that it was a nine-story restaurant. On the first floor hung a portrait. Upon closer inspection, however, they realized the portrait wasn’t a painting at all, but an image of a person formed by countless tiny fish swimming together in perfect formation.
Observing the portrait formed by the fish, the little fellow suddenly exclaimed, "It looks like Dad!"
