Revenge amnesia upgraded to his brother (Norah and Lucien) novel Chapter 218

Chapter 218

Norah’s POV

The studio instantly turned into a wellrun team moving at full speed.

The tapping of keyboards, the snap of fabric scissors, the low hum of sewing machines, and the buzz of talking all mixed into a wild, crowded noise.

In this busy, almost tight space, the one person who stood out in the worst way was Lucien.

This business titan was now standing at the ironing board, frowning hard as he stared down at the steam iron in his hand.

He hung a black leather patchwork jacket on a hanger, then carefully pressed the steam button.

All at once, a burst of steam shot out, almost blowing the hanger off the rack.

Watch it!Irina reacted fast, grabbing the shaking hanger before it could fall.

She rolled her eyes with zero patience. Boss, this is highend custom leather, not one of your business contracts. No need to scare it with steam. Take it easy, be gentle, got it?

Lucien’s face darkened, but he didn’t argue. Instead, he pressed his lips tight and fixed the steam’s strength and space more carefully. His moves were stiff, almost clumsy, and honestly, kind of cute.

Katarina walked by carrying a stack of fabric samples and burst out laughing at the scene. Looks like our chairman is way better off making choices at the meeting table than handling logistics here. Want me to switch your job? Maybe sort these beads by color?

She nodded toward several big boxes filled with colorful decorative beads.

Lucien looked up, giving Katarina a cold look.

Katarina didn’t back down; in fact, she lifted her chin a little, daring him.

In the end, Lucien said nothing, just looked away and went back to fighting with the jacket. The soft pink rising along his ears was the only sign of how he really felt.

Later that afternoon, Leo and Luna were brought in.

Lucien went over to greet them.

I crouched down and pulled out the design sketches I had drawn earlier. Leo, Luna, come check this out. Mommy designed battle outfits just for you.”

I pointed at the drawings, small versions of a suit and a princess dress that mixed parts from Scarsand Homecoming.

Leo’s little suit was classic black, but right on the chest, I had stitched a soft gold thread design that looked like a lightning bolt cutting across the night sky, a scar. The cuffs had tiny feathers showing the thornbird.

Luna’s princess dress was made of layers of pale white tulle, with small handsewn silver thread waves rolling along the edge. Around her waist was a soft green velvet belt, dotted with tiny stars made of scattered rhinestones.

Am I wearing this?Leo pointed at the lightning scar on the sketch. His face stayed blank, but his gray- blue eyes shone with hope.

Yeah, that’s the medal. Leo’s gotta be brave like Daddy, facing the storm headon.I rubbed his hair.

Luna couldn’t wait and grabbed the dress sketch, her small voice all sweet and high: Luna wants to wear the wave dress, just like a mermaid!

Alright then, let’s get your sizes now, and have the ladies make them for you, okay?

Luna was pretty easy to handle, though she kept twisting around to look at herself in the mirror.

Leo stood straight like a little grownup. When Lucien helped fix his collar, Leo slightly turned his head away, but quickly stood back up, lips pressed tight, ears warm.

Lucien paused for a second, then got even softer.

After the measurements, the kids were settled in a sunny corner of the studio, set up as a play area, with an assistant watching them.

But Leo was clearly more interested in supervising.

He stood with his hands behind his back, like a small Lucien, calm and cool, not too close but not far from the ironing board. His eyes followed Lucien’s awkward moves.

Every time Lucien almost messed up or managed to smooth out a wrinkle, Leo’s little brows would pinch or loosen just a bit.

Lucien definitely noticed his son’s steady stare. He moved even more carefully, sweat gathering on his forehead, scared of messing up in front of Leo again.

Who would’ve thought this big shot, who made decisions in European business circles, would be this nervous under his son’s picky watch, like a beginner?

I couldn’t help but laugh quietly while checking the accessory list nearby.

Night fell, but the studio was still bright.

The kids had been taken to the lounge by Lucien.

Most of the staff had taken turns to rest, leaving only the core team pushing through the last part.

I stayed alone in the office, staring blankly at the many edited lines of my speech for the runway show on

my computer screen.

I wanted to tell the real story, my scars, the tides, the path back home.

But every line I wrote was held back by the innocent eyes of Leo and Luna.

Would sharing too much of my private life pull them into unwanted attention and talk?

My fingers hovered over the keyboard, frozen for a long time.

The door opened with a small creak.

Lucien walked in holding a hot cup of milk and gently set it down beside me.

The kids are sleeping well,” he said softly. He had seen the words on my screen but didn’t ask anything. Don’t stay up too late. Your hand needs a break.

I nodded, picked up the milk, and took a sip.
