In the office.
As one of the students present, Anastasia was there to act as a witness.
The matter was being handled by the Vice Dean.
However, upon hearing the news, Dean Hubery rushed over.
Normally, he wouldn't get involved in such matters, but since Anastasia was connected to it, he had to take it seriously.
If Anastasia felt wronged in any way, he'd have a hard time explaining it to Mr. Harrison Lancaster.
Soon after Hubery arrived, Queena and Yves were summoned.
Anastasia’s eyes shifted. She noticed another new student, Pamela, follow them into the office.
Pamela had ranked third in the entrance exam and was also part of the assignment.
Looking at Queena, Anastasia saw that her earlier gloomy expression had vanished, replaced by an air of calm confidence.
Anastasia narrowed her eyes slightly.
“Yves, a student has reported you for cheating during an assignment. Is this true?” the Vice Dean asked, his face grim.
“I…” Yves stammered.
With so many witnesses, he couldn't deny it.
He instinctively glanced at Queena.
Queena stepped forward. “Dean, may I first ask why the patient was suddenly changed? I received no prior notification.”
“I approved it,” Hubery, who was seated to the side, spoke up. “Mrs. Clark’s condition was indeed too difficult for them, and it wasn’t appropriate for an initial assignment. When an instructor raised concerns, I made the decision to change the patient.”
Anastasia’s gaze turned cold. She understood Queena’s plan now.
No wonder she was so calm. She’d found a way out.
Under everyone's scrutiny, Pamela lowered her head and meekly said, “Yes, I was the one who cheated.”
Anastasia frowned. “If there was a mix-up, why didn’t you say so earlier?”
Pamela glanced at her before quickly looking down again, her eyes red. “I was hoping I wouldn’t get caught… I didn’t dare to come forward. I’m so sorry that Yves almost took the fall for me…”
Anastasia’s sharp gaze fixed on her. “Pamela, you should think very carefully before you speak. Don’t gamble with your future.”
Before Pamela could respond, Queena cut in with a faint smile. “Anastasia, what are you doing? Are you openly threatening her in front of everyone?”
“She’s already told the truth. What more do you want to hear?”
