Revenge is My Love Language novel Chapter 888

“Ms. Sterling, care to make a new friend?”

—Timothy!

He had a smile on his face, but his eyes held a powerful, predatory glint.

Anastasia’s smile faded. “Juliet, why don’t you go on ahead? I’ll catch up with you in a minute.”

Juliet looked worried but did as she was told and walked away.

“What do you want?” Once Juliet was out of earshot, Anastasia crossed her arms, looking at Timothy with impatience.

Timothy stared at her face, mesmerized. “—I don’t know if you’ll believe this, but it was love at first sight for me.”

Anastasia raised an eyebrow coolly. “Mr. Lawson, allow me to remind you that I am a married woman.”

Timothy smiled. “That’s fine. I don’t mind.”

Anastasia was incredulous. “...Are you insane?”

His smile widened. “You can tell?”

Anastasia was speechless.

She stood stunned for two seconds, then, without another word, turned and walked away.

She went to the garden to find Juliet but couldn’t see her anywhere.

She thought Juliet might have returned to the main hall, but after a quick look around, there was still no sign of her.

Anastasia frowned.

Juliet was a very obedient girl. If she told her to wait in the garden, she wouldn’t just wander off. If something had come up, she would have called. This wasn't right!

She immediately pulled out her phone to call her, but just then, a call came through from Juliet.

“Anastasia! I’m upstairs… Ah!”

The moment Juliet saw her, she left Marcus’s side and ran toward her.

Anastasia hugged the terrified Juliet while looking at Marcus for an explanation.

Marcus said, “This guy is drunk and was trying to grope Juliet. I happened to walk by.”

Anastasia patted Juliet’s back soothingly. “I told you to wait for me in the garden. How did you end up upstairs?”

Juliet’s face paled again. She glanced at Marcus, then said, “It… It was Yolanda. She asked me to come up here to this lounge to find her, but when I got here, she wasn't here. Only this man was inside.”

Anastasia’s expression instantly turned to ice.

What Juliet didn’t elaborate on was that the man seemed to have known she was coming. The second she entered the lounge, he had quickly shut the door. He even had a drugged handkerchief ready to cover her mouth and nose. If she hadn't reacted quickly and dodged, then right now…!

“Juliet!”

A panicked cry suddenly echoed down the hall. Yolanda appeared with several people in tow. The moment she saw that Juliet was unharmed—and that Marcus was there—Yolanda’s expression froze.
