Just as she was about to explode again, Harrison arrived, followed by Marina and Lady Lancaster.
Lady Lancaster usually couldn't be bothered with Susan's antics, but when her beloved granddaughter-in-law was involved, it was a different story entirely.
Marina had also rushed over from her film set as soon as she heard the news.
Whatever Susan was planning this time, she wasn't going to get away with bullying their Anastasia.
Harrison entered the room, his eyes immediately finding Anastasia. He went to her side. "Are you okay?"
Anastasia gave him a subtle wink. "I'm fine."
Unlike Lady Lancaster and Marina, Harrison wasn't particularly worried. When Anastasia had called him, the undertone in her voice had been one of someone inviting him to a show. He knew that if anyone was going to be in trouble today, it would be Susan.
"Mom... what are you doing here?" Ryan hadn't been back to the family estate in a long time, so he hadn't seen his mother either.
Lady Lancaster looked with disdain at Susan clinging to her son's arm. She scoffed, "I heard someone was trying to bully my granddaughter-in-law. Of course I had to come."
Marina stepped forward from behind her, her cold gaze sweeping over Ryan, who was letting Susan cling to him, and the pale, fragile-looking Susan. "Well? What happened?"
Ryan finally noticed Marina. His expression faltered for a moment, and he instinctively pushed Susan away.
"What are you doing here?"
Besides, Marina and the others trusted Anastasia implicitly. The idea that she would push Susan was preposterous.
The entire incident reeked of a deliberate attempt by Susan to frame Anastasia.
Marina, ever decisive, cut straight to the point. "Susan, apologize."
Shocked that Marina had condemned her without even asking for her side of the story, Susan's face went white. She clutched at Ryan's sleeve in a panic. "Ryan, I didn't..."
Ryan didn't respond to her, instead saying, "The restaurant should have security cameras. We'll know the truth once we make a call."
