Trading Hall Broadcasting Room.
Jiang Cheng was chatting with Todd.
With a "bang," the sound of a door being pushed open attracted the attention of the three people inside.
A man with a slicked-back hair ran in, holding a black notebook high in his hand, his eyes gleaming.
"Translator Jiang—I found it!!"
"Oh—my God! It’s my notebook!"
Todd excitedly stood up, reaching out to grab the notebook.
But the man at the door cautiously stepped back two steps, still keeping his eyes on Jiang Cheng.
"The notebook is for this foreign businessman, thank you for your help, how should I address you?"
Jiang Cheng got up and explained.
Upon hearing this, the man at the door let go of the tightly held notebook with a brush, casually stuffing it to Mr. Todd.
"Hello, Mr. Jiang, I am the director of the No. 1 Distillery in G Province, my surname is Xu, Xu Guoqiang."
"Hello, Director Xu."
Jiang Cheng shook hands and chatted with Director Xu.
Beside them, Todd happily flipped through his recovered notebook.
Director Xu took the opportunity to invite Jiang Cheng to stroll around their distillery booth, and Jiang Cheng readily agreed.
Director Xu was overjoyed to hear this and left after chatting for a while.
After sending off Director Xu, Jiang Cheng returned to stand beside Mr. Todd, tactfully refraining from looking at his notebook.
Todd, noticing Jiang Cheng, expressed his gratitude once more.
"Jiang, without you, it wouldn’t have been so smooth to find it back."
"Really, thank you so much, I hope I can do something for you."
Jiang Cheng responded with a gentle smile: "Mr. Todd, whether it’s me here or anyone from Hua Xia, they would enthusiastically help you."
"As for the return favor... if possible, could you help introduce some foreign businessmen to the booths here?"
"Of course, you don’t have to do these things, it’s just a small personal wish of mine."
Jiang Cheng’s words were sincere and kind, and Todd was not very resistant to Jiang Cheng’s suggestion.
"Jiang, I’m very willing to help you, though not many people I know come here, let me think..."
Todd seriously pondered for a moment and said: "I have an old friend who runs a hotel, but I don’t know if he’d choose to do business."
Jiang Cheng was pleasantly surprised and grateful: "That’s enough."
Upon hearing this, Todd immediately proposed: "Shall I introduce you to him?"
Jiang Cheng naturally agreed.
After agreeing, Jiang Cheng informed Xiao Lin of her need to leave.
"Comrade Xiao Lin, could you find some translators here? I need to leave for a while."
"Alright!"
Comrade Xiao Lin was understanding and supportive.
After speaking, Jiang Cheng left the broadcasting room with Mr. Todd to find his friend.
After walking half a circle, Todd finally found his old friend—Mr. Luke.
Mr. Luke dressed modestly, looking like a particularly unassuming old man, sporting a walrus mustache and holding an inconspicuous wooden cane.
Yet the keen light in his eyes made Jiang Cheng wary; this was definitely not a simple character.
"Hello Mr. Luke, I’m the translator here, Jiang Cheng."
Luke did not give Jiang Cheng a hard time, calmly reaching out to shake his hand.
Jiang Cheng pondered for a moment before deciding to tell the truth.
"Mr. Luke, I boldly asked Mr. Todd to introduce buyers. I don’t know what you need, but if you truly do, I’d be delighted to offer you guiding services."
Luke smiled.
"You’re smart."
