Jiang Cheng faced Leader Qiao’s question and shook his head.
"Currently, the information we have is too limited, so I don’t have any concrete ideas, but....."
Jiang Cheng paused, the smile of a sly fox reappearing.
"But I can imitate the accents of a few people, maybe it’ll come in handy."
Leader Qiao adjusted his outdated glasses on the bridge of his nose, appearing as an honest person anyone would think is easily bullied.
"It will definitely be useful."
Leader Qiao invited everyone to sit down, and in a soft voice said, "First, we need to try to determine the lowest price M Group can accept. Second, we must try to find out the lowest price of R and H. Third, we need to ensure that when the difference in bottom prices between the three parties is minimal, M will choose us."
"Later, we’ll split up under the guise of going out for a meal, acting separately as planned before, gathering as much information as possible, and meet up in the evening."
Jiang Cheng and the others quickly nodded and took action without delay.
Ten minutes later, a group of simple, outdated-looking Hua Xia people, carrying worn-out cloth bags, stepped off the elevator with synchronized movements.
Entrusted with significant responsibility, Jiang Cheng went to the hotel front desk to enquire about the directions to a Chinese restaurant.
Despite receiving several eye rolls, Jiang Cheng remained polite, expressing thanks.
After the Hua Xia team left, quite a few hotel staff whispered about the Hua Xia people.
However, unbeknownst to them, the Hua Xia team, divided into three groups, quickly dispersed.
None were timid or submissive, nor did they try to ingratiate themselves.
With clear goals, they persevered in a foreign land where they had no acquaintances.
Jiang Cheng teamed up with Teacher Qi.
The two of them went to a public restroom in a mall to change into slightly better clothes, significantly altering their air.
If before they’d appeared as relatives exploiting their kinship, they now seemed like wealthy, harmless, and innocent tourists.
"Teacher, they have a coffee culture, how about we stake out a coffee shop near the company?"
"That’s possible, if we split, we might gain more information."
Jiang Cheng nodded, and the two headed towards the coffee shop near M Group.
Once there, Teacher Qi acted as a kind elderly lady who didn’t understand English, while Jiang Cheng transformed into a backpacker recently graduated from university.
They had already collected prior knowledge on the appearances of several M Group leaders; their visit was to try their luck.
Jiang Cheng opened the door to a coffee shop, walking confidently and casually towards the counter, ordering a cup of coffee.
While waiting for the coffee, she scanned the surroundings, noticing a man holding a folder.
The folder bore the emblem of M Group.
"Miss, your coffee is ready."
Jiang Cheng turned around to thank them, took her coffee, and left.
After walking a few steps, someone stood up and bumped into Jiang Cheng’s backpack.
Unexpectedly, Jiang Cheng staggered forward, and the coffee spilled onto the man holding the folder.
"I’m sorry!"
"I’m sorry!"
A cascade of apologies sounded as the person who bumped Jiang Cheng apologized to her, and Jiang Cheng apologized to the man.
Although annoyed, upon seeing Jiang Cheng’s pleasant face, the man restrained his anger and said it’s alright.
Jiang Cheng, fumbling hurriedly, requested some tissues, attempting to wipe off the man’s clothes.
The man waved it off saying it wasn’t necessary, opting to use tissues himself.
With her hands in a flustered state, Jiang Cheng stood aside helplessly, merely helping to wipe the coffee stains off the man’s documents.
The man was not particularly vigilant because the papers he had weren’t particularly confidential.
Without needing any cunning dialogue, Jiang Cheng managed to glimpse the contents of the man’s papers.
After most of the coffee was cleared away, the man departed, and Jiang Cheng did not pursue him further.
