Yun Zijin handed out all the tasks on her plate. Once the delivery driver arrived with their afternoon tea, she said her goodbyes and left the office.
After leaving Dingsi Building, Yun Zijin headed to Jinsheng Mall. She remembered seeing a styling studio when she was here a couple of days ago.
Sure enough, Yun Zijin eventually found a styling studio on the 7th floor of Jinsheng Mall.
The studio was beautifully and warmly decorated, and Yun Zijin was immediately impressed by its style the moment she walked in.
"Hello, welcome to Wanmei Hair Salon! What kind of makeover are you looking for?"
Yun Zijin was dressed like a wealthy heiress today, so someone came forward to greet her the moment she walked in.
"I’m attending a charity auction tonight. Do you have any stylists with experience in this sort of event styling?"
The fact that Wanmei Hair Salon could open in Jinsheng Mall was a testament to its quality.
"Yes, we do. Our stylist, Xie Weining, has done many similar jobs.
However... Master Xie’s prices are a bit pricier than our other stylists."
Yun Zijin glanced at the employee. "That’s fine. You get what you pay for."
"However, I expect the final result to be worth the price. Otherwise, I’ll refuse to pay."
Yun Zijin made her terms clear upfront.
"Of course. We’re building a reputation here, not just making a quick buck. Please have a seat and wait for a moment. I’ll go get our stylist, Xie Weining, for you."
Yun Zijin sat down in a chair in front of a mirror.
’She had to admit, this chair was pretty comfortable.’
The person who had just gone to get the stylist returned quickly, but he didn’t look very happy.
Yun Zijin could more or less guess what had happened, but since the employee didn’t bring the issue to her, she pretended she hadn’t noticed.
"Hello, miss. Master Xie is currently with another client and isn’t free to style you right now.
You might have to wait, or I can see which of our other stylists is free and get one for you?"
"That works too. But they need to be good. If I don’t look good, I’m not paying."
"You must be joking. All our stylists have great reputations. They wouldn’t do anything to ruin their own name."
With that, he went to find a stylist for Yun Zijin.
Before long, he returned with someone.
"Miss, this is Eric, one of our stylists. He’s also very experienced with evening event styling. This is his portfolio; you can take a look."
Yun Zijin took Eric’s portfolio and flipped through it. There were indeed quite a few eye-catching styles.
"Alright. Keep it on the simpler side, please. Nothing too complicated."
Yun Zijin didn’t like overly complex styles. They looked chaotic, and if not done carefully, could easily end up looking gaudy instead of elegant.
"Okay, let’s start with a hair wash over here."
Eric led Yun Zijin to the salon’s designated hair-washing area. To ensure the client’s privacy, he even made sure to draw the curtains.

The entire makeover for Yun Zijin took a full four hours.
The gown and various pieces of jewelry were all provided by the styling studio and included in Yun Zijin’s total bill.
Since this expense wasn’t part of the auction, Yun Zijin had to use her own card.
But her card had tens of millions in it anyway, so there was no way she couldn’t afford a single makeover.
However, it was only after Yun Zijin left Wanmei Hair Salon that she remembered she had driven here. Dressed in a gown and high heels, she couldn’t possibly drive.
In the end, Yun Zijin took out her phone and booked a valet driver online.
Dressed in a white gown and standing next to her Ice Plum Powder Porsche, Yun Zijin became a striking sight outside Jinsheng Mall.
Many people were taking out their phones to record videos of her.
