"What’s wrong?"
Lu Yunque looked at Yun Zijin.
"I see Mr. Tang."
The list Lu Yunque had shown Yun Zijin included not only a simple personal introduction but also an ID photo.
Lu Yunque followed Yun Zijin’s gaze and also spotted Tang Zhaosong, who was dressed in a Tang suit.
"Should we go over?"
Since this was a symposium, even people who didn’t know each other could mingle and talk.
But whether they could "hit it off" depended on whether they could handle the interaction with the right amount of tact.
"Let’s go take a look."
Yun Zijin had never been one to give up easily. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have gone from a small orphanage to, through sheer effort, gaining admission into Dijing University—the top-ranked institution in Hua Country.
Of course, Lu Yunque would accompany Yun Zijin at a time like this.
And while Tang Zhaosong might not recognize Yun Zijin, he would certainly have an impression of Lu Yunque.
After all, the Lu Family was renowned in Hua Country. As the CEO of the Lu Group, Lu Yunque’s name would inevitably appear on the list of potential investors these researchers were looking for.
Seeing the two of them make a move, Li Yuexing and the other two quietly followed.
Here, they were essentially one party with Lu Yunque. Since Yun Zijin was Lu Yunque’s girlfriend, she was naturally with them as well.
With her clear objective, and with Lu Yunque and the others in tow, Yun Zijin immediately attracted a lot of attention.
Inevitably, Tang Zhaosong’s gaze shifted toward them.
When he saw Yun Zijin, a flicker of shock crossed Tang Zhaosong’s face.
It lasted only an instant, and not many people noticed—except for Yun Zijin, who had been watching him intently.
"You... are you here to see me?"
Tang Zhaosong looked at the five young people who had stopped in front of him, a little surprised.
This was his first time attending the symposium, and his purpose, of course, was to find an investor.
However, the project he was heading required a huge amount of investment, and it likely wouldn’t show any significant results for at least the next ten years.
So, although he had come, he came prepared for failure.
He hadn’t expected someone to approach him so soon after he’d arrived.
’And... they don’t look like ordinary people,’ he thought.
"Yes! To be precise, *I* am the one looking for you."
This was Yun Zijin’s personal matter, so she hadn’t planned on having Lu Yunque and the other three participate with her.
Her money all came from Randomly Spend, as if it were picked up in a whirlwind, so she certainly wouldn’t feel the sting of spending it. In fact, Randomly Spend seemed to encourage her to squander it lavishly; the more she squandered, the greater its rewards.
Tang Zhaosong turned to Yun Zijin. "What’s your name, little one?"
’Little one? What the heck?’
"Hello, my name is Yun Zijin. I’m twenty-one years old, not a ’little one.’"
’I just look young; I’m not actually a minor.’
"Tang Zhaosong. Sixty years old."
"Mr. Tang, this isn’t the place to talk. If you and this young lady have matters to discuss, you can use the lounge upstairs."
The purpose of this symposium was to find investors for the researchers’ projects. If a discussion went well, the parties could move to the lounges on the second floor of the banquet hall to negotiate.
This had been an unwritten rule of the symposium for many years.
"After you."
Yun Zijin made a "please" gesture, inviting Tang Zhaosong to go first.
