"Sure!"
Qin Sitong was completely oblivious to the strange atmosphere. She had taken a taxi to meet up with Yun Zijin and the others.
Now that someone was offering to drive her, she wouldn’t have to call another cab.
Su Mengyao and Tu Tutu had driven, but since the original plan was to stay at the hotel, they had both been drinking during dinner. Now, neither of them could drive.
Since Yun Zijin had bodyguards who could act as chauffeurs, the two of them certainly weren’t going to refuse the offer.
This was unfortunate for the three men who had specifically abstained from drinking, all for the chance to drive the ladies home. Yun Zijin had just snatched that opportunity right out from under them.
"Sister Yun, that’s not playing fair."
Sheng Yang tried to protest, but Su Mengyao was already walking toward Yun Zijin’s van.
"You only have one car. It’ll take forever to drive three people home. It would be better if we each drove one person."
"I know Miss Qin better, so I should be the one to take her home."
As he spoke, Fu Ze walked over to Qin Sitong and grabbed her by the wrist.
Qin Sitong had been drinking and wasn’t fully lucid. When Fu Ze grabbed her wrist, she looked up, confused. Realizing the person holding her wasn’t Yun Zijin, she instinctively tried to pull away.
"Who are you? Let go of me! I’m looking for... looking for Zijin."
Even while drunk, she could tell something was wrong, and the person she subconsciously sought was Yun Zijin. It was clear how important Yun Zijin was to her.
Fu Ze, however, felt a bitter taste in his mouth. The woman he liked was drunk and calling for her best friend. How heartbreaking was that?
"I’m right here! Come on, I’ll take you home."
Fu Ze had a point. One car taking three people home, besides herself, would be too time-consuming.
The combined routes would practically take them across all of Dijing.
So Yun Zijin had Zero One and the others make room. She and Qin Sitong would ride in Zero One’s car, while Su Mengyao and Tu Tutu would take the car she normally used.
That way, each car was only responsible for taking two people home. Plus, this division of passengers put them on convenient, similar routes.
For her own van, Yun Zijin had Ling Er and Ling Qi sit up front, responsible for driving and ensuring the personal safety of Su Mengyao and Tu Tutu.
Su Mengyao and Tu Tutu had no objections to Yun Zijin’s plan.
Not only had Yun Zijin given them her personal car, but she’d also assigned two of her bodyguards to them. It was an excellent arrangement.
Yun Zijin helped Qin Sitong into the seat behind the driver. After Zero One closed the door, Yun Zijin rolled down the window and looked out at the dumbfounded men.
"Gentlemen, why are you still standing there like statues? Do you find my arrangements unreasonable?"
"On a dark and windy night like this, a girl’s safety is very important. I even arranged for bodyguards. Wasn’t that thoughtful of me?"
After speaking, Yun Zijin flashed a brilliant smile at Fu Ze and the others.
"You... are just wonderful."
What could Fu Ze say? Right now, Qin Sitong only had eyes for Yun Zijin. If he didn’t know Yun Zijin’s sexual orientation, he would’ve assumed there was something going on between them.
As for Sheng Yang, Su Mengyao had sided with Yun Zijin at the critical moment.
Tu Tutu, on the other hand, remained completely oblivious. All she knew was that following Yun Zijin’s lead was always the right choice.
In the end, the men could only stand and watch helplessly as Yun Zijin’s two cars drove further and further away, until they disappeared from sight completely.
Today’s game ended with Yun Zijin successfully hijacking all the women for herself.
Fu Ze took a deep breath, then dragged Fu Yang into his car. "You guys figure out your own way back. Text me when you get home." With that, he told his driver to go.
Lu Yunfeng, Sheng Yang, and the others had driven themselves, but many of them had been drinking and couldn’t get behind the wheel.
