Rich Parents Found Me After I Got a Tycoon System? Yeah, I'm Not Interested novel Chapter 466

Chapter 466: Chapter 465: Persuading Someone to Study Medicine

"Zijin, how did it go?"

Huo Yue Lan didn’t even have a chance to check on Lu Yunzhou, immediately grabbing Yun Zijin to ask.

"Auntie, he’s fine. The acupuncture was just extremely painful, so he sweated quite a bit. He’ll need a caregiver to help wipe him down."

Yun Zijin carefully wiped her hands with an alcohol pad. Even as Huo Yue Lan held onto her and peppered her with questions, she answered patiently.

When she turned and saw Lu Yunfeng, a surprised expression crossed her face.

’I haven’t seen him visit before. I thought he and Lu Yunzhou didn’t have a good relationship.’

’But now it seems that’s not entirely true.’

"You’re here too. The acupuncture just finished. He’ll probably need some time to compose himself."

’Not that he has any image left to protect in front of me, anyway.’

But Lu Yunzhou was, after all, the eldest of the Lu Family’s younger generation and held a position in the military. It was obvious he took his image very seriously.

’And Lu Yunzhou right after acupuncture... this had to be the most pathetic state he’s ever been in. There’s no way Lu Yunfeng isn’t curious to see it.’

"Sister Yun, I had no idea you knew medicine!"

This was completely outside of Lu Yunfeng’s realm of knowledge.

Yun Zijin smiled. "I just picked it up for fun. So far, only my Acupuncture Skill is any good. I still have a lot to learn in other areas."

Because the system had suddenly given her the "National Medical Saint Hand" identity, Yun Zijin had asked Mei Lin to gather medical books for her as soon as she got home that day.

"Sister Yun, you’re just being too modest. If I had your talent, I would’ve broadcasted it to the entire world by now."

Yun Zijin’s low-profile attitude sometimes really made Lu Yunfeng wonder if he was too ostentatious.

"It’s not impossible to learn, if you’re interested. Do you want to?"

Yun Zijin’s words made Lu Yunfeng take two steps back. "Sister Yun, have you ever heard the saying..."

"What is it?"

"Telling someone to go to med school is just asking to be struck by lightning!"

Yun Zijin was speechless.

’Fine, if he doesn’t want to learn, he doesn’t have to. It’s not like I can force him.’

"Zijin!"

Huo Yue Lan had gone to see Lu Yunzhou and even had a doctor examine him. Only after confirming that Lu Yunzhou’s condition was improving could Huo Yue Lan finally, truly relax.

"Zijin, thank you so, so much."

When she went in just now, Lu Yunzhou told her that after this acupuncture session with Yun Zijin, he could feel his legs again.

Although he had only regained sensation, it wasn’t nearly enough for him to stand.

"This is just the beginning. Even though he has regained some feeling, I advise against starting physical therapy for now.

The best time for that will be after the full course of acupuncture is complete."

Yun Zijin was worried they might be so eager for Lu Yunzhou to walk again that they would arrange physical therapy for him before her acupuncture treatments were even finished.

Doing so would be of no benefit to Lu Yunzhou’s recovery; it could even be detrimental and overtax his body.

"Okay, we’ll listen to you."

If Yun Zijin hadn’t mentioned it, Huo Yue Lan would have indeed arranged for a professional physical therapy team for Lu Yunzhou.

But since Yun Zijin had specifically stressed that they couldn’t start early, Huo Yue Lan quickly agreed.

In any case, Yun Zijin was the doctor, and following a doctor’s orders is the duty of every patient and their family.

While the two women were talking, Lu Yunfeng had already entered the room and was now chatting with Lu Yunzhou.

"Big Brother, I really never expected that Sister Yun would be the one to treat you in the end."

’It’s just incredible when you think about it,’ he mused. ’I wonder how many other surprises Sister Yun has up her sleeve.’

"I didn’t expect it either."
