Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 42

"So Miss Holloway does get scared after all… I thought you people were completely fearless." Alicia couldn't help but laugh, her words dripping with sarcasm.

Mina's hands clenched in anger as she looked at Vincent. "Vin, did you hear her—?"

Vincent rubbed his brow, his voice low and steady. "Alicia, come here."

He wanted Alicia to behave. "Tyrone might help you now, but that won't last forever. He's only doing this because he thinks you might be useful. Do you understand?"

A businessman always thinks in terms of value—personal gain comes first.

In Vincent's eyes, Tyrone was no exception.

Alicia met Vincent's gaze. "I know he won't help me forever."

With that, she turned and left with Felix.

She'd always known no one could be her safety net for life. That's why she was determined to use this brief window of Tyrone's help to carve out a new identity—one that could protect her for years to come.

Riverside Mansion.

Felix drove Alicia to Tyrone's villa in Seaview City. The housekeeper—the same gentle, middle-aged woman from before—greeted her at the door with a warm smile.

"Miss Shelton, it's good to see you again." She handed Alicia a glass of warm water.

"Thank you." Alicia returned the smile.

"Miss Shelton," Felix said politely, "Mr. Lynch rarely comes back to Seaview City, but he's asked that you stay here before you go abroad." With that, he retrieved a document from his briefcase. "This is the prenuptial agreement. Please take a look."

Alicia gave it a quick scan. Tyrone's conditions were more than generous. Aside from having a child with the Lynch family during the marriage, there were hardly any strict requirements.

After the divorce, Tyrone would give her the luxurious Riverside Mansion—a property worth tens of millions—and a yearly sum of three million dollars, with the amount increasing depending on the length of the marriage. She'd also be added as a beneficiary to the Lynch family trust, meaning even after the divorce, she'd continue to receive her share of the family's monthly dividends.

It was a staggering sum.

All in all, Tyrone's generosity left Alicia stunned.

Before… Vincent would toss her a few thousand here and there after she'd suffered some indignity, and she'd only feel humiliated and hurt.

But Tyrone was offering so much… there wasn't a trace of humiliation in it. This wasn't an insult—this was a windfall.

Alicia cleared her throat and looked at Felix. "Felix… does your Mr. Lynch just have more money than he knows what to do with?"

"Miss Shelton, this contract is just to clarify the terms between the two of you. Everything else follows the usual process of marriage. If Mr. Lynch were to marry normally, his wife would get at least this much—maybe even more—if they divorced," Felix reassured her, trying to put her at ease.

Alicia took a deep breath. At this point, she could hardly wait to sign.
