Chapter 150 Sharon Who Ever Heard
Hansel’s POV
Standing behind Jensen, I could feel the sweat prickling at the back of my neck.

I was a Beta. A capable one… but still just a Beta. And the sheer pressure of so many Alpha auras gathered in one place was enough to make my instincts scream for an exit.
Kae kept whimpering in my head.
Then, it happened.
That Alpha from the Blood Moon Pack – a man with more ego than sense – stepped forward.
“Does that mean your five–year relationship with the Keeper was merely an affair? Are you telling us she was merely a mistress?”
I felt Jensen’s aura spike.
I winted, almost backing away.
I knew that look, Jensen was about to do something he couldn’t undo.
“What nonsense are you spouting?” Jensen’s voice thundered, his eyes glowing.
“Sharon and I are just friends. There is no mate bond. There is no Luna.”
The silence that followed was absolute.
The gathered Alphas exchanged looks of pure, unadulterated shock.
They had all seen the pack’s announcements and had been introduced to Sharon.
I felt a cold shiver run down my spine.
‘Alpha, everyone knows you’re mated to Sharon… she’s the luna.‘ I mindlinked him but got nothing in response.
‘Leave… If only you had listened earlier when I told you to-‘ Raze began.
‘Enough,‘ I interrupted with a hiss.
As his Beta, I had spent five years cleaning up his messes, but this?
This was too much.
The Alpha just went against the rules of the North.
Never claim another wolf while being mated to one.
For a fleeting moment, I seriously considered accepting Kae’s suggestions the moment we left the airport.
This position was becoming a death sentence for my sanity.

He’s not acting as an Alpha.
I now understand why Felix took off.

i reached out, discreetly tugging at Jensen’s sleeve, trying to signal him to shut up and move toward the exit before he said anything else that could be recorded by the Alpha’s around us.
He could be stripped of his title.
But he didn’t even notice me.
He was too far gone.
“I’m telling all of you,” Jensen continued, his voice getting bolder, “Sharon and I are completely innocent of those rumors. Stop spreading lies! The only woman I’ll ever love in this lifetime is the Keeper. Natalie is the only woman I’ll ever marry!”
“You declared in front of everyone here that Natalie wasn’t the Keeper but now you’re accepting her. You’re nothing but a hypocrite.” A female Alpha screamed.
Jensen spun around and stormed off toward the exit.
I had to trot just to keep up with his long, angry strides.
Behind us, the terminal erupted into a low–frequency hum of whispers and snarls.
The Alphas were stunned.
A public declaration like that was as binding as a blood oath.
And yet, Jensen was mated to Sharon.
Now, with Jensen denying it so fiercely, the power dynamic of the entire territory was shifting.
If this is taken to the Council, Jensen might be stripped of his position.
‘Isn’t that what we wanted?? Kae questioned with satisfaction.
‘No… No matter what, Jensen is still my Alpha.‘
‘He’s weak,‘ Kae whispered again. ‘You felt it back there. The Alphas did too.‘
1 clenched my jaw.
‘He’s still my Alpha.”
I saw several Alphas already communicating with their Beta’s, likely reporting back to their packs that Jensen had claimed the Keeper as his mate.
By the time we reached the private wing, the tension hadn’t eased.
Jensen sat in the back, his gaze fixed out as he shifted into his brown wolf.
His jaw was locked tight, his glowing eyes forcing me to take a step back.

“Alpha,” I started, my voice cautious. “You were too impulsive today. Far too impulsive. Yes, you haven’t been living with Sharon as a mate, but if a rival pack really reports to the council then you will be stripped of your position.”
He growled in response as he turned towards the woods.
“Natalie hears that you’re publicly claiming her, she might resent it.”
He didn’t say anything, just turned and ran off. His paws making prints of the soil.
I shifted and ran after him.
“I’m forcing her hand, Hansel,” his voice cracked through the link. “I’m forcing her to come out. If she really is my Natalie, she’ll hear the call. I’ll give her everything- the pack, my own life. But…”
He paused, speeding off.
“If someone is pretending to be her, using the Keeper’s name to cash in on my guilt, then they’d better not blame me for being ruthless. I will not have her memory tarnished by a fraud.”
I froze, then went straight after him.
He stopped by the river, shifting back behind a tree.
“Jensen, what do you mean by that? You think the woman is an impostor?”
Jensen’s gaze darkened.
He finally looked at me through the branches, as he changed into some shorts.
“Natalie’s soul has been muted before the fire, Hansel. She was a Scribe who had lost her soul. How could she possibly be designing and transcribing these lethal new patterns now? Even if she hadn’t died in that fire, she wouldn’t have had enough time to heal, let alone train herself to transcribe again.”
I swallowed hard as I shifted, grabbing a pair of spare shorts stashed near the trees like we always did.
“So you’re saying the Keeper in the North is a fake?”
