Runemaster in the Last Days novel Chapter 287

Riya stretched her body and then looked at the leather paper that she had made.

The materials that she used were from rank 2 magic beasts. The few rank 3 magic beasts that attacked City A base this time didn’t have suitable skins, so Riya didn’t move them and left them be for the time being.

And after looking at Mo, who was sleeping soundly, Riya guessed that Mo ate too much.

The meat that she gave out were rank 2 magic beasts’ meat.

For Mo that had only reached rank 2, there was a lot of mana contained and it would take some time for him to finish absorbing all of them.

But in a short time, Riya guessed that Mo should be able to advance again.

"Mo’s talent is that good?"

Riya looked at Mo with some suspicion.

She knew that Mo has some talent because he was able to become a magic beasts through fighting against those unranked magic beasts and eating their meat. But she didn’t expect that Mo’s advancement would be so fast.

After all, she didn’t really know any methods to raise these magic beasts aside from giving them enough food to eat.

Oh, she also let Mo fought a lot too.

Even if she took Mo in because she wanted a mount in the beginning, a good mount should also know how to fight.

But she didn’t expect that Mo would be able to get stronger quickly after she gave him higher ranked magic beasts’ meat. He had just advanced to rank 2, but with this pace, he might be able to reach rank 2 middle stage by tomorrow.

That was really fast.

’Or it might be because the mana concentration had become higher here.’

After taking those magic beasts’ corpses, they were all turned into mana, making mana extremely abundant in her world.

Looking at her other animals, Riya felt that they were all growing stronger very quickly too.

This meant that the food they produced would also contain mana.

This is a good thing for Riya.

’But it wouldn’t be enough for me.’

These animals had reached rank 1 through living in her world, but food that contained such little mana would have few use for her.

She could sell them, though.

But perhaps later in the future.

Riya checked a few more things in her world and then walked out. It was time for dinner and she was a bit tired after practicing for a long time.

She should rest a bit.

As she walked into the dining room, Riya could hear the sound of Amelia wailing.

"Brother, what do you mean we have to follow you to the crack in two days?" Amelia felt that her brother was really ruthless.

She could understand that he wanted to bring her and her brother for practice when they went out to get supplies some time ago.

But what about now?

When talking about works, both Amelia and Sean looked away.

They were not really doing their work badly, but their attention was often shifted to training. Because they knew very well that they had to train if they wanted to become stronger.

The work become a bit delayed and their assistant had to help them finish it at last.

Samuel felt that his two siblings were indeed not very good at working. So he would let the two of them train more in the crack and reached rank 2 as soon as possible.

As long as they got stronger, everything will be good.

"But will it not be dangerous if all of you enter the crack?" Mrs. Jones asked quietly.

She was not against her children training and pursuing strength. With the world changing like this, it would be more reassuring if they could practice and become strong that they could deal with these magic beasts outside.

But Mrs. Jones didn’t want to see her children in severe danger.

She had nothing to say about her first son because she knew that his position would make it difficult for him not to brave dangers.

But her two other children…

She didn’t really want to see the two of them in danger like that.

"Don’t worry, Mother, I’ll not let them explore the crack and only stay with the researchers and the others," Samuel said. "Moreover, a real magic warrior can’t be cultivated just from meditating and practice but had to see real blood."

He had seen it very clearly that these two people advanced faster when they faced those magic beasts’ tide than when they were quietly practicing.

Should he say that it was his family’s talent?
