Chapter 152: Sisterhood
Sasha’s pov
I looked at Jade, who was sobbing while looking at the almost-dead David.
I watched as she tried applying pressure to his wound so he wouldn’t bleed out.
“You might be a nurse, little sister, but even you can’t save him from this,” I said, looking at the dagger.
I have Jade to thank for all of this.
Now, all the power that this brat possessed is mine.
I know that it will probably take a few days for me to actually get a handle on it.
“Please pass on this message to my sister,” David said, and Jade shook her head.
“You can tell her yourself,” she said, and just like that, two omegas walked in.
They helped David and walked away with him.
How on earth did they know to come and get him?
Jade hasn’t made any calls, and she didn’t even call out to anyone.
That is the weird part. I just stabbed her best friend’s younger brother, but she didn’t scream.
She didn’t seem surprised by it at all.
No, it doesn’t matter what her reaction is.
It doesn’t matter because now I have the power that David had.
That brat had all that power but was too soft to do anything with it.
Now I will show her how it is done, and I will take down everyone.
Jade didn’t say anything else and just walked out without a word.
Why? I am trying to let it go, but I can’t do that.
I clearly heard her say that she couldn’t kill him, and she was even sobbing.
She seemed hurt that he was injured, but she doesn’t seem to resent me for it.
Am I just overthinking this whole thing?
“You do know that with all this power I have now, it means you won’t be able to kill me,” I said, and she stopped.
“So what about it?” she asked me, and I scoffed at this.
I finally understood why she seems to be distant and unaffected.
She is angry and scared, angry that she wasn’t the one who got all that power.
I can feel it, I can feel it surging inside me, and soon enough, I will be able to use it.
“I will use this power to kill you and your entire family. Shouldn’t you be more concerned about this than that brat?” I asked her, and she sighed.
“Do what you want to do,” she said and then walked off.
I looked at the bloody dagger in my hand, and I felt this anger boil inside me.
She turned her back on me, I won yet again, and yet she is acting like it’s nothing.
She has always done this, always downplayed my achievements like they were nothing.
I walked towards her, but a hand blocked me, and Dante took away the dagger I was holding.
“You were really going to kill your sister?” he asked me, and he let go of my hand.
Jade turned around and then looked at Dante.
“So it’s done, huh?” he asked her, and she nodded.
“Everything went according to the plan,” she said, and I looked at them, confused.
“I know it was hard for you,” Dante said, and I scoffed at this.
“You and my sister were also going to kill me. Why is it so wrong when I want to do it?” I asked them.
Jade looked at me and then smiled at this.
“Had I wanted to kill you, then I would have done it a long time ago,” she said, and then held out her hand.
