Chapter 191 All Kinds of Hidden Weapons
Truth be told, Margaret disliked the dress intensely.

But Winter said, “You look even lovelier in this gown, Ms. Campbell. It makes you look so much slimmer.”
Margaret had already lost a great deal of weight over these days.
The layer of fat that once rounded her midsection was gone. Though her stomach still looked a little soft, her waistline had narrowed completely.
Even her thighs had visibly slimmed down. Her arms were the hardest part to tone, and she planned to give herself daily acupuncture on them from now on. This kind of unhealthy, bloated weight could not be fixed by exercise alone.
She had a natural baby face. Even with a slender figure, her cheeks stayed full and round. Add the loose clothes she always wore, plus the cold winter weather that made everyone look bulky, and it was no wonder others still thought her plump.
Timothy’s new dress did not fit perfectly, yet it still managed to make her look thinner.
The fabric was thin, and even loose as it was, it faintly outlined her waistline.
On such a cold day, the gown was far too flimsy. Timothy cared nothing for her health, only eager for her to look better to serve his own schemes.
Margaret was just about to change out of the dress when a loud thud suddenly banged against the door.
Winter hurried outside to check and spotted something stuck in the wooden door at once.
She leaned in for a closer look and gasped in fright, “Ms. Campbell! It’s a dart! There’s an assassin!”
The words were barely out of her mouth when Margaret stepped forward and pulled her back into the
room.
Another dart slammed into the door right after, narrowly missing Winter’s face.
Winter let out a terrified scream. Margaret rushed out immediately. “Show yourself if you dare! Stop hiding and fighting dirty tricks!”
Winter called out nervously from the doorway, “Ms. Campbell, don’t go out there!”
Margaret snapped, “Lock the doors and windows tight and stay inside. Leave this to me.”
The assassin could hurl darts here with such ease, meaning his martial arts were formidable. If they both hid in the room, they would only be trapped like turtles in a jar.
She had to go out to pinpoint his location.
As another dart shot toward her, Margaret dodged aside at once and sprinted hard toward the courtyard
wall.

Chapter 191 All Kinds of Hidden Weapons
There he was, standing atop the wall.
Finished
A set of acupuncture needles appeared in her hand, and she flung them toward the shadowy figure without hesitation.
The assassin dodged the needles effortlessly, then pulled another dart and hurled it at her.
Margaret kept her eyes fixed on his hands and evaded the sneak attack easily. When he jumped down from the wall, she tossed another handful of acupuncture needles his way.
Meanwhile, Winter seized the chaos and ran outside shouting. “Help! Someone, come quickly!”
Before she could finish, the hidden assassin in the dark flung another dart.
It was about to strike Winter dead on when Margaret sent a flying needle to intercept it.
The acupuncture needle knocked the dart off course, but the dart still carried enough force to hit Winter’s head. She collapsed to the ground, knocked unconscious instantly.
Margaret paid her no mind for the moment and flung another set of acupuncture needles at the assassin.
The assassin swatted the needles away one by one, then leaped forward abruptly, landing right in front of Margaret.
She dropped into a squat to dodge the sword swinging down at her, then swept her leg out to knock him off balance. The assassin vaulted into the air with lightness skill and landed lightly on the courtyard wall
once more.
Fast as lightning, Margaret rushed forward and flicked her wrist again.
Expecting another volley of acupuncture needles, the assassin raised his sword to block at once.
Instead, Margaret suddenly tossed a cloud of fine white powder into the air.
Caught completely off guard, the assassin inhaled a mouthful of the powder. His limbs instantly went weak, and a murderous glare flashed in his eyes.
This woman uses all kinds of hidden weapons.
Seeing the powder take effect, Margaret moved to charge him. But a gust of wind blew the remaining cloud of powder right back toward her.
