Chapter 343 Rigid Class Lines
Rosalie was completely out of tricks when it came to Quinn.
Nothing she tried worked anymore.
Forshed
“Honestly…” Elaine sighed. “Why did you have to break things off? If you’d landed someone rich and powerful too, we wouldn’t have to grovel to Quinn.”
That only made Rosalie even more bitter.
“Stay out of my business!” she snapped.
It was almost funny. First, Chase had been tangled up between the two sisters.
Now it was Julian. Rosalie never thought she and Quinn would end up clashing over another man.
But unlike Chase, Julian didn’t spare her so much as a glance.
To Rosalie, that was the ultimate humiliation.
She wouldn’t get another chance to see him, either.
Chase said there was no way.
Outside of formal holiday visits, he almost never saw Julian, let alone knew his schedule.
Rosalie had also tried probing Geoffrey, but he was sharp and careful.
Anytime Julian came up, he dodged the question entirely and changed the subject.
Only then did Rosalie realize how rigid class lines really were.
She couldn’t even get close to Julian, let alone fit into his world.
These past few years, Rosalie had thought she was better than ordinary people.
She’d made friends with wealthy heirs and fancied herself an elite socialite.
But reality had hit her hard.
Cruel as it sounded, if Quinn hadn’t known Chase since they were kids, Rosalie might never have crossed paths with someone like him at all. Let alone Julian.
Two days later, early in the morning, Quinn got up.
Julian was taking her on a trip, and she’d been too excited to sleep well the night before.
She’d lain down around ten but didn’t drift off until nearly midnight.
She hadn’t seen Julian in person these past two days, but they’d talked nonstop on the phone.

“Getting ready for bed,” she said. “Did you finish work?”
“Just did. Just showered.” Julian’s gaze was soft and deep. “I missed you.”
Quinn’s cheeks burned. “Oh.”
“Did you miss me?” he smiled. “You’re always so shy. What am I going to do with you?”
Quinn looked away, twisting her fingers around her phone, and hummed in agreement.
“What does ‘mm-hmm’ mean?” he teased. “You didn’t miss me?”
Quinn finally mumbled, “I did.”
