The controlled chaos of a coordinated manhunt filled every corner as Zoe barked orders while organizing the flood of incoming intelligence from our street informants and corrupt cops on the payroll. Finn, whose computer hacking skills had proven invaluable to our family operations, worked alongside Felix at dual workstations loaded with encrypted terminals.

“Boss, we successfully cracked into Ivy’s phone,” Felix announced, his fingers still flying across the keyboard. “We also obtained security footage from surrounding buildings and now have the license plate number of the vehicle that took her.”

“Inspector Martinez speaking” came the response after several rings.
