"The professor said I should go to the university if I'm willing to go out," Xavier said. "I can meet many like-minded students there. Talking to them will not only broaden my thinking, but I may give constructive feedback to help the students."
"But Mr. Lawson Senior is a little worried about letting me go." Xavier pressed his lips.
"Do you want to go?" Angeline asked with a smile.
Xavier nodded. "I do, but Mr. Lawson Senior is worried that it isn't safe. He's afraid that he would lose me. So… forget it! I don't want him to be worried!"
Angeline felt bad for Xavier's thoughtfulness.
Robert had paid extra attention to the safety of the twins because of losing Jessica many years ago.
"If you want to go, maybe I can talk to Mr. Lawson Senior and figure out a plan?" Angeline said. "Just like how Yasmine gets to attend kindergarten. There's always a way to work things out."
"If Xavier wants to go to school, I can help him talk to Mr. Lawson Senior!" Yasmine said while hugging Xavier.
Angeline hung up the video call after chatting with the twins for a while. She felt better after the call.
The next day, Angeline entered her office and saw a huge bouquet of red roses on her desk.
Jamie quickly said, "The secretariat signed for the flowers this morning. They said someone gifted this to you."
Everyone in the secretariat discussed who sent the flowers before Angeline arrived. No one dared to peek inside the folded card on the flowers.
Angeline placed her handbag on the desk and looked at the card. Her brows furrowed when she saw Ned's name on the card before throwing it on the desk.
