Judy’s POV
“You’re out of your mind if you think for a second I’m going to let my pregnant mate get into a death match with a lunatic,” Gavin said, his eyes blazing with fury as his wolf surged forward.
“Gavin, this is the only way that I can prove myself. If I can protect myself and our pup while defending against Lila and winning this match, it’ll prove that I’ll be a good enough Luna.”
I didn’t tell him that my magic literally told me to accept the challenge and that it would protect the baby and me.
“And you think putting our baby at risk is a good idea?” He asked, shaking his head. “I’m not going to stand by and let it happen.”
He opened the limo door; we were standing outside the party. Pretty much right after I accepted Lila’s challenge, we stormed out. Or rather, Gavin dragged us out.
Erik was already waiting for us when we got outside, which led me to believe that Gavin reached out to him just before we left.
“Get in the limo,” Gavin ordered, narrowing his eyes.
Irene and Nan were already seated in the limo, and Gavin and I stood outside for a bit longer, arguing without their prying ears. I saw a small vein appearing on Gavin’s neck… it only appeared there when he was over the limit with anger, and I felt awful that I was the reason for it.
I wished I could tell him that I would be protected during this fight, but I doubted he’d even believe me. I had no idea how to explain to him that the magic that swirled inside of me could somehow communicate with me and told me to accept the challenge.
“We’ll discuss this more at home,” Gavin said, his eyes narrowing even more as he glared at me. “Get in the limo.”
I opened my mouth to say something, but then my eyes caught something that made me freeze. I spotted Daisy standing around the corner from the front entrance. She was still naked and no longer carried the platter of drinks. She had her arms wrapped around her body and I could see the goosebumps on her flesh.
She was freezing and trying to cover herself with her arms. She looked pale and upset and it didn’t take me long to figure out why.
Right in front of her was Noah; he was glaring at her, displeased, and her head was downcast, her bottom lip wobbling.
He was saying something to her that I couldn’t hear, and then, without warning, he grabbed her arm roughly. She whimpered, and I saw tears forming in her eyes.
She swallowed, then glanced at Noah, her demeanor shrinking.
“Maybe we should talk somewhere else,” she said softly to him.
“Judy, let’s go,” Gavin said, and I hadn’t realized he was right behind me, so I startled at the sound of his voice.

I knew he was serious, too.

I guess since almost a month has passed since any chapters were posted that was the end of the story. What does everyone think?? I’d like to know. Thanks....
Was that it?? Author needs to say whether it is the end of the story. After this I won’t ever read another from this author. It’s ridiculous....
Assuming the book's finished?...
It is getting SO OLD waiting for new chapters. Good Grief. What is the problem?...
Is this the end of the story?...
Will there be anymore chapters??...
Has the story ended?...
Love the story but we need consistent multiple chapters to published weekly. This is taking too long....
When can we get more chapters...
Where are the chapters from 906 onwards?? It doesn’t generate any chapters just blank pages....
