Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 5387

The itchiness only grew worse as the men in black scratched harder. As their hands were stained with the powder, they ended up transferring the itch to other parts of the body.

Once the itching began, it seemed to spread everywhere. They scratched one spot, then another, but the more they scratched, the more areas started to itch, leaving them increasingly uncomfortable.

They would rather be killed right there and then than go through that kind of hell.

Lilian’s special blend was more powerful than Laurence’s and Noelle’s itching agent. Just a tiny bit was enough to make anyone claw their skin to the point of drawing blood.

No one could ever come close to Lilian when it came to poison.

With the men in black scratching frantically, stopping Lilian and Jane was the last thing on their minds. Lilian pulled Jane along to walk out, run down the steps, and get into the car to drive away.

Inside the villa, the Longbottoms were confident that the men in black would not let two women get away, so they did not even look at the doorway. They simply waited for Jane and Lilian to return once they were blocked.

Two minutes later, drawn by the start of the car engine, they turned to the door.

Sensing something amiss, Roxy and Manny jolted to their feet and ran out.

Tony and Susan remained seated for a while before getting up to check it out.

“What’s going on?”

Roxy asked the men. “Did the two women leave?

“I told you to stop them, but you can’t even keep two women from leaving?”

The men in black clawed their necks, faces, arms, and even their backs. It could be their minds playing games, but they felt itchy all over. Now that they clawed at every inch of their body, the itch had spread.

“This is unbearable. It’s so itchy…”

They were too busy scratching themselves raw to think about anything else. Speaking was difficult enough, let alone stopping Jane and Lilian. Even after the car drove off, none of them had the presence of mind to shout a warning or call the guards at the gate to intercept them.

“Itchy?”

Roxy frowned.
