When Laurence got back to his residence, he saw a few new cars parked in the lot, bearing license plates he did not recognize.

He got out of his car and stood before the new vehicles.

“Sir.”

One of the bodyguards he had left at home to keep watch over the place came over and greeted him respectfully, then explained, “These cars belong to Mr. York from Wiltspoon. He’s visiting with his wife and is waiting inside for your return.”

Laurence immediately smiled and said to Noelle, “Uncle Zack and Aunt Ser are here.”

Noelle wondered, “Did Callie come with them?”

The bodyguard replied, “Ms. York did not come with them. Only Mr. York and his missus came.”

Laurence said as he headed inside, “Isn’t Callie working in FC & Co. now? How would she have time to visit? Unless Chloe asked her to come along.”

Laurence was well aware of how strictly impartial Chloe was when it came to work.

Within the company, even he, as her older brother, had to abide by the rules and regulations she set.

As Chloe said, without rules, there would be no order.

The rules she had set were strict, but not inhumane. As long as they were conscientious about their work, they generally would not violate them.

“That’s true.” Noelle knew Chloe well too.

Everyone always said Noelle was stubborn, but actually, Chloe was just as bad.

The difference was that everyone was used to Chloe’s stubbornness, so they did not think it was that bad.

Plus, they only commented on Noelle’s own stubbornness because they wanted her to stop caring about the status gap and just get together with Laurence already.
