Chapter 53: Chapter 53: As If She Didn’t Bear Me a Son Too

Bai Chaosi heard this and thought, ’So the woman in my arms is called A Yue.’

Mu Silin had no desire to waste words with Bai Chaosi.

"If you’re a man, don’t use a woman as a shield. You want to fight for her? Fine. Put her down first, and we’ll settle this like men! A proper, head-on fight."

He didn’t want to wake Shen Yue or frighten her.

Since everyone was already out in the open, they might as well have a proper fight to determine who had priority.

But Bai Chaosi, a faint smile playing on his refined and noble face, remained unmoved.

"Fighting may be your preferred method of solving problems, but it’s not mine."

"I prefer to use... this."

As he spoke the last word, he tilted his head meaningfully.

The gesture meant he preferred to use his brain.

Not his brawn.

That simple head tilt made the hearts of his subordinates, hidden in the shadows, absolutely flutter.

’Our Young Master is just too beautiful, too powerful, too incredible!’

’Look at that presence! Even when facing four formidable Beast Clan members with High-level Spiritual Power, he doesn’t lose out to anyone. In fact, his magnificence outshines them all.’

’They were so proud!!’

From the moment the four of them appeared, Bai Chaosi understood that the woman in his arms was the female they had all set their sights on.

However, from the looks of it, they hadn’t yet had the chance to spend any time with her or get close to her.

’It seems my timing was truly perfect,’ he thought. ’I’ve managed to wedge myself right in between them.’

Since this woman was the one who had taken his innocence back in Beastification City, how could he possibly hand her over to someone else?

After all, he’d been searching for her for a very long time.

Even with four such formidable rivals, he would fight for her to the very end.

He looked at the four of them, his gaze sweeping over each one in turn.

"Gentlemen, rather than fighting amongst yourselves behind her back, I suggest we each rely on our own skills. We’ll see who can win the fair lady’s heart first. What do you say?"

Hearing this, Ye Lüqi seemed to understand.

He dropped his aggressive, ready-to-fight stance and proudly straightened his sleeves.

"Very well. Since we’re all here for Miss A Yue, let’s compete on our own merits and see who can win her affection first."

"Besides, Miss A Yue has already given birth to my son. I am already her de facto Beast Husband. All I need to do is bring her back for a wedding the entire world will watch and swear an oath before the Beast God. It’s only a matter of time before she becomes my Female Master!"

At these words, Bai Chaosi’s brow furrowed slightly.

’She actually had a child with another man?’

’Does that mean this lion’s blood has been marked by her, just like mine?’

But Mu Silin nearly laughed out loud when he heard that.

"You say that as if she didn’t give me a son, too!!"

Bai Chaosi’s frown deepened.

’She had a child with this Leopard, too?’

Beside them, Lan Cangyue’s lips curled into a smile that was both innocent and devilish. He added nonchalantly,

"That’s right. It’s not just you two—she gave me a daughter!"

The warmth on Bai Chaosi’s face faded, his expression turning grim.

’That’s three of them.’

He instinctively glanced at the Flood Dragon man standing off to the side.

The cold man, his face an icy mask, simply let out a cold laugh.

"Hah...!"

The disdain in that sound was self-evident.

The color drained from Bai Chaosi’s lips.

’The woman in my arms... had children with all four of them?’

His arms around Shen Yue tightened unconsciously, and he gave her a retaliatory pinch.

Shen Yue, who was fast asleep, felt someone pinch her waist, hard.

It was uncomfortable, and she frowned, murmuring in her sleep,

"Stop that... Be good."

Bai Chaosi was furious.
