That single thought had been what kept him going.

If Ophelia had someone she could be entrusted to…

then maybe…

he could go find Evie.

Gideon really did have some skills.

He somehow managed to find out that Eliza would be accompanying Vega to Old Master Blake’s birthday dinner.

Since it wasn’t a formal banquet, there were no invitations or anything like that.
