He thought, ‘Mr. Gray, just sitting in the car isn’t enough for you anymore, huh?

‘Hasn’t your imaginary buddy ever told you that what you’re doing is what we call being totally whipped?”

His mind was running a nonstop commentary.

And suddenly, Sebastian looked up and said coolly, “John.”

John snapped to attention and replied, “Yes, Mr. Gray.”

Sebastian asked, “What were you just thinking about?”

John felt silent.

Luckily, a sleek sedan pulled up, saving him from the awkward moment. Sebastian’s gaze immediately shifted away from John.

John let out a quiet sigh of relief.

The car came to a stop.

Sebastian watched as Stella got out, clutching a giant piece of cotton candy in her hand.

It was a huge blue shark-shaped cotton candy.

It was even bigger than her face.

It looked extra fluffy and bouncy.

Sebastian fell silent.

‘She must’ve bought that for Lucas again,’ he thought.

Her face stayed utterly blank.

But deep down, he was definitely not happy about it.

Eliel and Vincent hopped out and snapped a salute to Sebastian. They said, “Mr. Gray.”

Sebastian narrowed his eyes, asking, “Why are you two showing up together?”

His icy stare landed on them; anyone could practically feel the cold coming off him.

Eliel was left speechless.

Vincent could only stare in disbelief.

This question was hard to answer.

Both of them shot a desperate look at Stella, silently pleading for her to rescue them from this mess.

Stella, cool as ever, walked right up to Sebastian in his wheelchair. Before anyone could process what was happening, she bent down and gave him a big hug around the neck.

The man who was seconds away from going full dark overlord and unleashing a storm on everyone was suddenly wrapped in a cloud of pink bubbles. The moment Stella hugged him, he immediately mellowed

out.

Eliel was left speechless.

Vincent could only stare in disbelief.

It was just like that incident in the training camp cafeteria. Eliel’s eyes widened in shock all over again.

Eliel shot a look at Vincent, asking, “You get it now, right?”

Eliel was left speechless.

‘Damn, he really is an idiot,’ Eliel thought to himself.

He grabbed Vincent by the collar, dragged him into the car, and sped off.

Sebastian masked his gaze, hiding his emotions.

Stella smelled sweet and felt soft in his arms, still patting his back. But that giant cotton candy, clearly meant for Lucas, was seriously getting on his nerves. His eyes flashed with jealousy, and the next second, he sneakily reached out.

He gave it a sneaky pinch.

John, who had witnessed the whole thing, was just speechless.

Feeling Sebastian’s icy stare, John immediately pretended to be super interested in the clouds.

Stella said, “Sebastian, you’ve really worked so hard all these years.”

Sebastian fell silent.

He froze mid-pinch, guilt flashing across his face as he quickly pulled his hand away, trying to act as if nothing happened and placing his hands obediently on his lap.

‘Hope Stella didn’t see that, he thought.

Sebastian stared at the totally ruined blue shark cotton candy, his brows furrowed.

He reached out again, trying to fluff it back up.
