Sophia glanced at Stella, her mind drifting to how Carlos lost most of his fortune in the divorce. Now, everyone in the Gray family was counting on Conrad’s upcoming chip and smart robot launch to turn things around.

Linda pressed, “Don’t hesitate, Mom! If we miss this chance, we might never get another!”

But in the end, Sophia just kept quiet.

Stella glanced up at the building in front of her, looking a bit reluctant. She said, “Sure, I guess.”

Linda thought, ‘What’s that supposed to mean? Is she seriously looking down on us?’

Linda sneered, “And what if you can’t pull it off?”
