Chapter 326
‘Well, that’s one way to say ‘see you later. Stella thought, a smirk ugging at her lips.

Sebastian walked straight up to Stella, exuding confidence, and the way they were dressed made them look every bit like a couple.
Everyone else glanced between Sebastian and Stella, their gazes lickering back and forth.
They were all stunned by this sudden turn of events.
Only Xander stood there, his large fists clenched tightly.
Wait, he’s the mysterious shareholder?‘ Xander thought, shock and disbelief flashing across his face.
Sebastian reached out to straighten Stella’s collar, his voice deep and smooth as velvet. “So, where were we?”
He acted like the rest of the room didn’t even exist, but as he spoke, his icy gaze swept across everyone present. No one dared meet his eyes. They went away in panic. Each person quickly looked.
Stella arched a brow and said, “Xander nixed Blake’s bid to get on the board.”
Sebastian just said, “Is that so?”
With a sharp scrape, he pulled out a chair for Stella. The guy was all business, not a hint of friendliness. His whole vibe screamed ‘don’t mess with me. He said, “Then let’s put it to a vot again. Right now!”
Xander started, “Sebastian…”
“What’s wrong? Everyone suddenly mute?” Sebastian cut him off not even bothering to look at Xander. He took a seat next to Stella, his big hand dropping casually onto the table.
He tapped his fingers lightly on the tabletop.
The Yates family members slipped in behind each shareholder, and as soon as Sebastian spoke, they pressed everyone firmly back into their seats.
Everyone felt a jolt of fear shoot through them.
It was as if the whole room had been plunged into a freezer.
That air of absolute authority was just like five years ago.
Every shareholder was scared stiff, hearts pounding with dread.
At the same time, their heads were spinning with questions.
Every year, he dumped billions into Ion Wing Drones, and it wa’t just a one–time thing. It’d been going on for years. All that cash was the real deal, not just numbers on paper.
Ever since Sebastian’s accident five years back, he’d been holed on his private island, totally out of the Gray Group loop. So where was all that money coming from?
‘Seriously, just how loaded is this guy?‘ everyone thought, jaws practically hitting the floor.
For a moment, the conference room went pin–drop quiet.
“John,” Sebastian said coldly.

John raised his hand, and the big screen on the wall flickered to fe. He pulled up the business channel, showing the latest stock trends.
Pierce Group’s stock had just tanked another 7%, while Ion Wing Drones was on a rocket ride, all green and climbing high, a total contrast.
It was a total shocker.
No one knew what to say.
It hurt so bad, it was like their hearts were getting stomped on.
Xander’s veins were popping out on his forehead, his eyes bloodshot as he stared at the screen. “I! Will! Not! Agree! No matter how many times you try!”
Stella scoffed, propping her elbow on the table, fingers interlaced. “Then let’s see who really runs Pierce Group today.”
Smoke billowed everywhere.
The shareholders looked at each other, unsure what to do next.
They’d been so quick to decide before, but now they were all second–guessing themselves.
Business is business. They’ll always side with whoever lines their pockets.
And honestly, going head–to–head with Sebastian was way riskier than just letting Blake onto the board.
No need to go to war over something so minor. With that thought, everyone except Xander’s die–hard crew was quick to jump ship.
Well, the result pretty much spoke for itself.
Xander slowly closed his eyes, let out a bitter chuckle, then opened them again. “Did you all forget? I’m the current Chairman of Pierce Group, and the largest shareholder. I’ve got eto power.”
The shareholders frowned at that.
‘Honestly, there’s really no need for this. Xander is just being way too stubborn‘ they all thought.
Sebastian tapped his fingers on the table. “Let me correct you.” He glanced at his watch. “Ten minutes ago, you stopped being the largest shareholder of Pierce Group.”
Xander’s eyes widened. “What… What did you just say?”
‘No way. This can’t be happening,‘ Xander thought, disbelief crashing over him.
Cold sweat broke out all over him.
Everyone stared in disbelief. “So… Who’s the top shareholder now?”
Someone couldn’t help but ask.
Blake froze for a moment.
Almost without realizing it, his gaze drifted to Stella and Sebastian, and sure enough, both of them we him.
Then, Blake slowly raised his hand up high, not saying a thing.

Everyone turned to look at him.
Blake raised his hand and said, “Unless something unexpected happens, I guess it’s me.”
Everyone just stared in silence.
‘Did he really say that?‘ they all thought.

What does he mean, ‘unless something unexpected happens‘? Is it really him?!‘ everyone wondered, totally thrown for a loop.
“And one more thing,” Stella said, shooting a look at Fabian. He quickly pulled out the prepared documents and handed them out to every shareholder except Xander.
Everyone opened the files, their faces showing all kinds of reactions. “What the…”
They all just stopped talking, cut off mid–sentence.
Their faces shifted as the realization hit.
Some were stunned, some were fuming, and some looked like they’d seen a ghost.
Stella gave Xander a cold look. His face contorted with anger. “Soon enough, you’ll be out as Chairman.”
Xander couldn’t hold back his rage any longer. He slammed both fists onto the table, hard enough to draw blood.
Right then, a live news bulletin interrupted the TV broadcast: Greenleaf Club, the most famous hotspot in Haliville, had just been shut down by the authorities half an hour ago.
“Anyone who’s ever been to Greenleaf Club knows every private room is wired with hidden cameras. And everyone knows the one really pulling the strings at Greenleaf is you, Xander,” Stella said.
She spun her pen with that signature nonchalance, dropping this bombshell on Xander as if it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Xander’s face was livid, his glare vicious. “You do this, and you’ll bring down the whole Pierce Group!”
That club was full of shady dealings and skeletons in the closet, involving money, power, and secrets no one dared speak of.
