At the same time, a global live stream was happening on YouTube for everyone around the world to watch.
[Oh my gosh. Alessio!]
[Is he really paralyzed?]
[Are you kidding me? This guy is literally the Michael Jordan of gymnastics.]
Comments were flooding in nonstop.
Since Orlando had been hyping up the documentary for ages, pretty much every Alessio fan was glued to his updates. Even their flight info to Tongalia had already been leaked all over social media.
Soon, hashtags like [Alessio], [Alessio Paralyzed], and [Alessio Seeks Herbal Medicine In Tongalia] were everywhere, flooding Monterra’s Twitter trending topics.
‘Wow, this level of buzz is way beyond what I ever expected,’ Orlando thought, totally stunned by the global
attention.
He quickly pointed his phone at the center of the hall.
Meanwhile, everyone inside the International Convention Center had no idea about the online frenzy.
All eyes were glued to Alessio.
Monterra’s legendary athlete now looked gaunt, ashen-faced, and moved like a zombie, completely drained of life.
“I’m Alessio’s agent. You can call me Pablo,” someone said. Compared to Alessio’s haggard appearance, Pablo looked sharp in his tailored designer suit; if one didn’t know better, he’d think Pablo was here for a runway show.
Pablo eagerly launched into a long introduction about himself, barely pausing for breath.
Landen, sitting next to Stella, let out a cold snort. He said, “So flashy.”
He was not genuinely here to treat anyone.
Meanwhile, Stella barely spared Alessio, who looked like he’d lost all hope, slumped in his wheelchair, a glance before turning away, completely indifferent.
“Dr. Miracle, what do you think?” Landen asked. “Can he be saved or not?”
Stella just hummed noncommittally, leaving Landen unsure if that meant yes or no. Then Stella asked, “Is the medicine ready?”
Without saying a word, Landen reached into his oversized cloth bag and pulled out a sealed hexagonal pill
case.

It was roughly the size of a big herbal pill.
:
“Dr. Miracle, here,” Landen said, handing it right to her.
Emily, sitting in the back row, poked Stella in the back. She asked, “Stella, what are you doing?”

With a calm twist of her wrist, Stella made the pill case disappear right before everyone’s eyes; her face stayed completely impassive the whole time.
She stood up.
“Heading to the restroom?” she asked, honestly too bored to listen to Pablo’s nonsense any longer.
“Go, go, go,” Emily said, eager to get out of there.
Sebastian gave Emily a sideways look, his face blank and his eyes frosty.
Emily was shocked.
‘What’s up with him?’ Emily thought, a little annoyed.
Stella rose to her feet, instantly catching the eye of Quinto and nearby onlookers. With her hands tucked in her pockets, she walked out with an air of ownership, Emily close behind. Meanwhile, Pablo, still hyping up his credentials, suddenly froze.
‘How rude,’ Pablo thought.
Pablo sneered inwardly.
‘Since Paul’s hand is done for, there’s no reason for me to play nice with these Clusians,’ he thought.
Reuben caught sight of them out of the corner of his eye. He asked, “Mr. Wilkerson, do you want me to send someone after them?”
“There’s no need to follow them to the restroom. Just inform Carmelo to prepare; he’ll be demonstrating the acupuncture later,” Quinto stated coldly. This time, he was determined to use the Penn School’s signature acupuncture technique to outshine Paul and the Clusians.
‘I’m gonna make them absolutely disgusted,’ Quinto thought.
In the hallway, Emily asked, “Stella, where are you going?” She was surprised when she realized this wasn’t the way to the restroom.
Stella shot her a half-smile, a little playful. She said, “Just gonna show my face for a bit.”
Emily was speechless.
She wondered, ‘Wait, what does that even mean?’
But Stella didn’t bother explaining. She just lazily glanced back over Emily’s shoulder.

Emily instinctively turned around, and there was Halcyon, rocking a man bun, casually hoisting a huge, burly foreigner like he was picking up a toy. The guy was totally helpless.
“Got enough footage yet?” Stella asked.
Stella shot him a faint, almost mocking smile, but her eyes stayed icy.
And yep, the whole thing was streaming live for the world to see.
[Wow. A Clusian girl.]
[She’s gorgeous. Totally on par with a celebrity.]
[Isn’t this supposed to be a documentary? Why are they filming her? I’m outta here.]
The cameraman glanced around nervously. ‘Man, if this were Monterra, filming someone without their permission would get me sued for sure,’ he thought.
“Take me to your director,” Stella said, her voice flat and indifferent.
The cameraman was left speechless, totally baffled by what was happening.
Honestly, even Emily was just as confused; she had no idea what Stella was planning.
Two minutes later, Orlando was left speechless.
Staring at Stella, who stood there totally unfazed by the cameras, Orlando couldn’t help but feel a bit sheepish for some reason.
Later, he asked, “Aren’t you the leader of the Clusian delegation?” He signaled the cameraman to keep streaming every second. “All the other country reps have already seen Alessio, and now Tongalia’s about to make a splash.”
He threw in a friendly reminder.
What he actually meant was that he was totally stirring the pot, just loving the drama.
Orlando’s face practically screamed, “Aren’t you going back yet?”
The next second, Stella stuck out her hand toward him.
It was completely empty.
Orlando was left speechless.
He was confused, thinking, ‘What does she mean by this?
‘Why can’t I make sense of this?’
[What does that even mean?]

[Unbelievable. Guys, check this out!]
Prompted by the comments, everyone turned to look.

Orlando and the cameraman looked so shocked; their eyes were practically popping out of their heads. And out of nowhere, the little pill case Landen had handed to Stella was suddenly in her hand.
Orlando was left speechless.
He was totally shocked.
