But after more than a month, she understood something clearly. Nighthowl, Alwyn, and even the silly- looking Lucien were all long-living, twisted beasts.

They could handle problems on their own.

Lucien, however, still had issues. His distortion level was high and needed to be calmed with Affinity Points.

The good thing was that calming him also gave extra attribute points.

Still, the three beasts hunted different numbers of monsters. If the calming sessions were uneven, it would not be fair.

So Joanna decided to rotate tasks. Tomorrow, Lucien would go to Skyreach Spire. Nighthowl would head to the arena. Alwyn would run standard dungeons.

While thinking this through, Joanna entered the villa district.

This place was far more luxurious and comfortable than the villas she had stayed in back at Trinity High.

There were gravity training rooms, attribute pressure rings, and other advanced facilities.

There was also a dedicated Dimensional Origin Energy training chamber. The apartment had only one small pod, and she could only lie down inside it.

Here, she could train and grow stronger at the same time.

Even better, the energy gained here was four times that of a normal training pod.

That was the true power of a villa.

The strong only grew stronger.

Joanna entered the training room. She absorbed Dimensional Origin Energy for another two hours, then practiced using the Venomcoil Whip.

The whip required real control: It would stay with her until level 30, so she needed to get used to it early.

Two hours later, her attributes increased by about 1,300 points.

After finishing her training, Joanna left the villa and healed to Dungeon Plaza.

All three summoned beasts were working hard.

She had no intention of slacking off. She entered dungeons, cleared them, and wrote guides,

In one day, Joanna published three guides, all for hard-er dungeons.

Dreadwood (Hard-tier), Sewers Dungeon (Hard-tier) an Deserted Island Escape (Hard-tier).

This time, she did not cooperate with Amshien Group. While the company was powerful on Chromatic Star, it was not top-tier across the entire Space Alliance.

Joanna released the guides publicly. Each one cost 10 stategy points to unlock. Views were delayed and settled at midnight. After posting them, Joanna stopped paying attention,

Early the next morning, Nighthowl and the others had een running dungeons nonstop for eight hours.

Joanna finally called a halt to the credit-farming spree and told them to return to the new villa.

“Rest up. We’ll check the results tomorrow.”

This time, Joanna assigned them proper rooms.

The villa was huge. It made no sense for them to transform into small beasts to squeeze in the bed with her.

One arm was not enough to hold three fluffy creatures.

Just then, Lucien stepped forward and volunteered.

Chapter 158 Kiss Me, Joanna

“My queen, we just signed the contract, and today is a big day for us,” Lucien said. “Well, it was yesterday, but still. By rights, I should be the one sleeping with you tonight. You two aren’t going to steal my wedding night, are you?”

Nighthowl and Alwyn both clenched their teeth.

That annoying tiger!

They really wanted to punch him.

But Alwyn’s golden eyes suddenly shifted, and he thought about it. Maybe this wasn’t so bad..

If Lucien stayed with Joanna, he probably wouldn’t behave and turn into a small, cute animal. Maybe it was. time to let their bound partner learn a lesson.

“Fine,” Alwyn said. His heart felt sour, as if he’d been male a cuckold, but he still agreed.

Nighthowl looked at him in surprise. Then he thought about it. If someone different stayed with Joanna each night, wouldn’t that mean he could have her all to himself on his own nights?

And today, Joanna really did need to use Affinity Points to calm Lucien.

Alright. That would work.

Still, just thinking about it made him sad. He had never been apart from Joanna before.

A hint of sadness appeared in his silver cyes, and his vote turned soft and bitter. “Then, I won’t rest. I’ll go run a dungeon instead. That way, Joanna can get more resources.”

The moment Joanna heard that, her heart ached for hir

“We follow the order; today Nighthowl goes first,” she said.

She planned to comfort Lucien later. The attribute points she got from calming him were fixed. But the points she gained from absorbing Origin Energy would slowly drop the more she used it.

So, it made sense to use Origin Energy to level up, calm Lucien, and get the fixed amount. That was the better deal.

Lucien glared at Nighthowl right away.

Playing the weak card? Stepping back to move forward?

Is this a well-known hypocritical tactic used to gain the summoner’s favor?

Lucien’s tone turned sharp and strange.

He gritted his teeth and complained, “Then I won’t restither. I’ll go run a dungeon too. I worked all day, and now I still have to run a dungeon at night. I’m so tired. Poor me.”

Joanna couldn’t help but laugh.

“Lucien, lower your head.”
