Meanwhile, Bruce watched everyone leave, then returned to stand at the villa entrance. Under the streetlamp, he looked even more melancholic, sadness practically spilling out of him.

Around this time, other teams were finishing their exams one after another. They all noticed Bruce standing there.

Word spread quickly. Soon everyone knew the former top team had been kicked out of the villa by Joanna.

Some people felt sorry for Bruce and approached him. “Hey Bruce, don’t just stand here waiting. Joanna’s running the Spider Lady dungeon right now, carrying people to level up. Looks like she’s pulling an all-nighter. If you want to find her, head to the dungeon plaza.”

Should he go to the dungeon plaza?

But before, they always went as a team.

Bruce hesitated, then stayed rooted in place.

“I’ll just wait for her here. After all, she probably doesn’t want me to bother her.”

The classmate next to him felt like the guy was about to shatter.

Plenty of girls snapped photos of Bruce standing in front of the villa and posted them on the school forum. It sparked a ton of discussion, with people saying the vibe was incredible, the atmosphere was perfect.

Some even tagged Joanna, asking her to come comfort the melancholy prince.

A few classmates even sent Joanna direct messages through the friend function on their player interface.

“Joanna, you should go check on him. Bruce is waiting outside the villa. You were teammates for three years. He looks like he’s about to cry.”

“Bruce used to really like you. I didn’t expect you to be so heartless. As a classmate, I really think you should go comfort him.”

“Can’t you just work out your differences? Why make Bruce sad? He’s so pitiful, and you won’t even comfort him.”

Cho code is Pelote and Black

You can’t make our Prince Bruce sad! As a member of Prince Bruce’s fan club, I strongly condemn your behavior. Also, I heard he didn’t do well on the exam and has to move to a four- person dorm. Can’t you at least save him a room?”

Joanna was in the middle of a dungeon run when these messages flooded in. She was instantly

speechless.

She set her dungeon to Do Not Disturb mode, then deleted and blocked everyone who had messaged her about Bruce.

“Freaking psychos,”

When she got kicked off the team by those “Four Prodigies,” none of these people came to comfort her. Some were even watching with popcorn. Now Bruce was standing there putting on a show, and suddenly everyone felt sorry for the poor little rich boy.

When Joanna’s affinity points were high, everyone fawned over her. When she lost them, those followers vanished. Some even wanted to mock her.

What a joke.

Of course, Joanna also understood that over these three years, she had been too busy. She basically revolved around those four people and had average relationships with other classmates.

This was fine too,

No need to deal with useless socializing.

After deleting that batch of “friends,” Joanna went back to running dungeons.

Fortunately, the people following her on runs weren’t stupid enough to poke the bear. None of them mentioned Bruce.

And so it went.

Joanna ran a whopping 16 dungeon carries in a row.

Early the next morning, Joanna finally stopped leading runs.

“I’m taking a break. See you around!”

One point could determine the fate of hundreds of millions of test-takers.

Before, Joanna had no choice. She was a summoner without a summoned beast, with no money and no power.

Grinding low-level dungeons gave pitiful XP.

Her teammates wouldn’t cooperate, and soloing would increase her affinity points too much. She was afraid that if they got too high, she’d get kidnapped and sold on the black market someday.

Now she had real power.

Doing everything possible to catch up to those top-tier players.

Sixteen Spider Lady dungeon runs. Other teams averaged way less than the three days Marcus’s group needed.

But including Spider Lady, the minimum clear time for most teams was still about a day and a half.
