"Someone fell!"
A gasp of shock echoed across the first floor of the mall.
Stella West had crashed heavily onto the floor, her shopping bags tumbling down the escalator and spilling their contents everywhere.
She sprawled pathetically on the ground, the pain so intense she couldn't even open her eyes, only registering the crowd gathering around her with startled exclamations and pointing fingers.
Her entire body ached as she forced herself to lift her head, only to see two shopping bags right in front of her. The items had spilled out—coincidentally, it was the sexy lingerie, G-strings, and fishnet stockings she had just purchased.
The gazes of the onlookers varied, but even without looking up, Stella could feel the mix of contempt, amusement, and judgment directed at the scandalous garments.
Ignoring the agonizing pain, Stella scrambled to hide the scattered scraps of fabric beneath her. Her face burned with humiliation as she screamed furiously.
"Get lost! All of you, get out of here! What are you looking at? There's nothing to see, get lost!"
The crowd had originally just been watching quietly, and two young women had even been stepping forward to help.
At Stella's outburst, the crowd immediately backed away, and a few people instantly began to mutter in disdain.
"What a psycho, yelling in a public place like everyone owes her something."
"Judging by the trash she bought, she doesn't seem like a decent woman anyway."
"Let's just go. She's ruining my mood for shopping."
The crowd dispersed, leaving Stella prone on the floor, the pain now feeling even more unbearable.
At the hospital.
Fiona Dashiell had already caught wind of the dramatic scene Stella had caused earlier.
Worried that Lizetta and Remington might get into a fight over the incident, Fiona gave them some time to sort it out while sending Tina over to Lizetta's room to eavesdrop on the situation.

The readers' comments on the novel: Shattered Illusions Love Lies and Redemption (Lizetta and Remington)
Does evil really triumph always above the good in this novel ? How comes Stella's evilness has no end? Does the author believes that by giving justice and importance to bad people like Stella will make this novel interesring? I am starting to lose my patience and ask when will the writer finally will realize that the protagonist is Lizetta and not Stella....
