Shattered Illusions Love Lies and Redemption (Lizetta and Remington) novel Chapter 1328

She fiercely laid out the boundary, but it was as if he hadn't heard a single word. His eyes merely narrowed to lethal slits.

"Who is Teddy?"

Realizing she was talking to a brick wall, her anger flared again.

"It's none of your damn business!"

Just then, her WhatsApp pinged loudly. It was almost certainly a reply from Teddy.

She instinctively looked down at the screen, but he crushed his grip on her wrist, sending a sharp jolt of pain up her arm.

Her fingers went numb, dropping the device. Before she could grab it, his large, lean hand snatched the phone from the seat.

Cassius aggressively tapped the newest notification at the top of her screen.

The contact saved as "Teddy" had sent a voice note. The profile picture was a boyish selfie.

He was the textbook definition of young Hollywood eye-candy—gazing into the camera with soft, puppy-dog eyes, practically flirting through the screen.

A dark, menacing scoff slipped through Cassius's lips. He jammed his finger against the play button.

"Hey Yoli, do you need something from Zoey? Her number is XXXXX. Do you want me to send her your contact card so she can add you? Oh, by the way, are your cramps any better? Make sure you keep drinking warm tea, okay?"

With every passing second of the audio, Cassius's face grew darker and more terrifying.

He wasn't an idiot. This pretty boy reminding her to soothe her cramps meant he intimately knew her menstrual cycle.

Even he didn't know something that deeply personal about her!

A suffocating wave of intense jealousy and betrayal hit him. He fixed her with a gaze as sharp as a blade.

Watching him invade her privacy and listen to her messages sent her into a furious spiral.

"Cassius! Give it back! Are you a psycho? Does Zoey know what a total scumbag you are?"

But how could he ever accept that?

He hadn't been able to detach himself from their fiery connection for even a second. What right did she have to walk away so easily?

A violent cocktail of rage and obsession surged through his veins. He dipped his head with overwhelming dominance, crashing his lips fiercely against her arguing mouth.

"Mmph! Cas—mmph."

Every single protest was instantly swallowed down. She immediately tried to bite him back in self-defense.

But the bastard's hand was already clamped firmly around her jawline.

Applying brutal pressure, he forced her mouth open, leaving her entirely vulnerable to his invasive, demanding kiss, completely robbing her of the chance to fight back.

She mentally cursed every generation of his family. She had no idea where this bastard had learned such overwhelming physical control.
