She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 333

The girl wore a flowing white dress, her hair swept up in a loose knot, leaving a few wisps to frame her face. She sat at the piano, fingers gently poised above the keys.

If you asked her what she loved most about music, the answer was always the piano. Back in Cloud Village, she used to sneak into the school just to listen to the teachers’ lessons. It was there, quite by accident, that she first heard someone playing the piano. She’d closed her eyes and let the notes wash over her. Strangely, even after just one listen, she understood the soul of the piece—the mood, the story it tried to tell. Maybe, she thought, this was a kind of talent, the same way some people are born with a knack for gambling.

Now, in the restaurant, the music drifted through the air like a gentle stream, light and melodious. She transformed the sweetest notes into lush chords, her hands skimming across the keys so quickly it was as if she became a part of the music itself. The melody danced and swelled, each note telling a piece of her story. Eyes lowered, she played as if the piano were simply an extension of her soul.

Everyone in the restaurant was swept up in the magic of her music. Especially Stella, who suddenly felt embarrassed for nearly volunteering to perform earlier. Good thing she hadn’t—this was what true mastery sounded like. All she could think was, “Incredible!” Mesmerized, Stella quickly pulled out her phone to record the moment. The pianist on stage looked almost ethereal, a shadowy figure barely visible, but the music was beautiful beyond words. Stella was determined to capture it for Sabrina.

Meanwhile, in a private dining room, a strikingly handsome man paused in the middle of his meal. He wore a pale blue, finely checked shirt with the cuffs rolled up just so—simple, yet elegant, with an understated sensuality. He looked for all the world like a prince who had just tossed aside his tuxedo after a lavish gala.

As the music reached his ears, he halted, setting down his knife and fork. Closing his eyes, he listened intently to the exquisite piano.

Hyatt frowned ever so slightly, then stood, unable to resist seeking out the musician. His manager, Malcolm, noticed and asked, “What’s up?”

They were in one of Blossom’s Diner’s private rooms—discreet, safely out of view from fans or paparazzi. If Hyatt stepped outside and was recognized, there’d be no escape tonight. Honestly, Malcolm wouldn’t have agreed to dinner here if Hyatt hadn’t insisted on scouting out Port City himself. He couldn’t wait for this star client to finish eating so they could hightail it back to Crowncrest City; there was a film shoot tomorrow, and their schedule was packed.

“Listen to that piano,” Hyatt said quietly. “It’s breathtaking. Apart from my mom, I don’t think anyone plays like that.”

Sabrina just grinned. “What can I say? Some things you’re just born with.”

Elsewhere, in another private room, Celine and Elena had been listening, utterly entranced—until the music stopped.

“Celine, why don’t you go play a piece? That pianist sounded a lot like Hyatt. Do you think he’s here tonight?”

Celine hadn’t planned on performing. Her mind was a tangled mess, and she wasn’t in the mood for music. She’d come to Blossom’s Diner tonight just to unwind. But the thought of not hearing from Hester made her stomach twist with worry.
