She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 346

Samuel and Burt exchanged a curious glance, both turning their attention to her.

Samuel arched an eyebrow. “Go on. I can help.”

Sabrina didn’t refuse. Dealing with someone as powerful as Hector required an equally strong force to counter him.

Hector was the heir to Glenwood’s most influential family. If anything happened to him in Veridia, it could cause a lot of trouble for everyone involved.

That was why, when Hector first laid a hand on her, she hadn’t retaliated immediately.

She’d hoped he would back off.

But he didn’t. He just grew bolder and more arrogant.

Did he really think this was Glenwood, where he could do whatever he wanted to whomever he pleased?

Bryce had already made contact on her behalf, but if Samuel could lend her a hand, all the better.

“Thank you, Samuel. I think I will take you up on that offer.”

“My pleasure!” Samuel laughed heartily, relieved she hadn’t turned him down.

“I want to check the basement,” she said. After all, those who wanted her dead deserved a little payback.

“Alright. Let’s go together.”

Samuel had seen firsthand how decisive and ruthless she could be—far beyond what you’d expect from someone her age.

If he ever stepped down, she’d make an excellent successor.

He just wasn’t sure if she’d want the job.

Samuel wouldn’t mind handing over the gambling business; her skills at the table were better than his. But as for the other ‘enterprises’—the ones that couldn’t see the light of day—he hesitated to imagine a young woman taking charge.

Since losing his wife and daughter, he’d never thought about starting another family. None of the women he’d met cared for him—only his money and power. That was why he’d stayed single all these years.

As he pondered, they reached the basement.

The scene was a mess: more than twenty men sprawled across the floor, looking like they’d had a rough night.

Bodyguards stood in a line, weapons at the ready. If anyone dared pull a stunt like Red last night, they’d shoot him on the spot.
