Malcolm rushed to Hyatt, breathless with excitement.
“We've found Piano Girl!”
He pulled up Celine’s Twitter photo and thrust his phone at Hyatt.
“Look—isn’t this the girl from the other night?”
The dress was identical. There was even a clear shot of her at the piano. Hyatt glanced at the location tag beneath the photo: Blossom’s Diner.
The time, place, outfit, even the hair—all matched up perfectly.
“She’s from Port City. Get in touch with her,” Hyatt said.
Malcolm nodded eagerly and hurried off to make contact.
Once they had her name, tracking down her details was a breeze.
Less than ten minutes later, Malcolm already had Celine’s contact info.
Meanwhile, Celine was out shopping with Elena. The two of them hadn’t checked their phones and had no idea that Celine had suddenly become the latest viral topic on Twitter.
Celine stepped out of the fitting room in a luxury boutique, still adjusting a new dress, when her phone rang.
She glanced at the number: unfamiliar.
She declined the call without hesitation.
Unknown numbers were almost never worth picking up—usually just telemarketers or scammers. Who actually calls anymore, anyway? If it's important, people use WhatsApp or another messaging app. Unless it’s an emergency, no one bothers with phone calls.
The phone rang again.
Celine rolled her eyes and silenced it once more.
“These telemarketers are getting out of hand,” she grumbled.
Elena, checking her reflection in the mirror, teased, “Maybe it’s that guy confessing his undying love!”
