{Mother!} Andrea, her son suddenly called out to her, and she raised her head, adjusting the earbud in her ear.
"Any interesting news today?" she asked with a smile on her face as she lowered her head to look at the tablet she was playing with.
{Um. Izzy did it!}
Upon hearing that, Diamond’s hand froze for a brief second before she continued scrolling on her tablet. "Umph! So, what is going on right now?" she asked, recalling that such a person still exits.
Izzy was that woman who got between her and Sullivan. She was also her savior. Without her appearance, how could she have known that people’s hearts aren’t as clear as they seemed on the surface.
{Sullivan got rescued in time and she got arrested. She didn’t have a chance to escape at all.}
Diamond, hearing that, sighed dejectedly as memories surfaced. Who would have known that the final outcome would be this?
It was completely .... Unexpected but what else would she expect?
"It’s karma. Anyway, keep me updated. I am very curious about what will happen to that two-faced b***!" Diamond scoffed as her lips turned into a smirk.
’Who told them to mess with her?’
After getting the unexpected news, which would have made her heart ache several months ago, Diamond shortly forgot about the whole issue as she started a live stream.
Why bother with unrelated men, when she has other better things to do?
Interacting with her fans was always the best. Especially after seeing how much fun Zara was having with hers.
It didn’t take long before the plane departed and the official trip to the famous kingdom of Rozinya started.
She couldn’t wait to visit this sacred land.
She was curious to see what a land blessed by the deities was like.
After all, she was planning on building a temple of her own. Not to worship herself, but the deity who made her who she is today.
At times, people need to give back. Even if it’s not anything monetary.
Faith can do wonders.
----****----
After being in the plane for goodness how long, a groggily Zara sighed with relief listening to the captain that they should buckle up as they were about to land.
Zara didn’t have to move, as someone helped her with that.
"Princess, don’t be afraid. Everything will be fine, trust us!" Emma helped Zara with her buckle, she comfortingly said, although her heart wasn’t at ease saying so.
Zara forced a smile as she looked at Emma and nodded. "Um. It will be. The goddess won’t forsake me!"
The goddess had promised and she shouldn’t let her down when she was just near the finishing line.
Emma smiled at hearing that and nodded.
She didn’t know which goddess it was, but since her miss had said that, then maybe it would happen as such.
With everyone buckled, the plane finally landed, and it was time for them to go through customs and immigration.
With Amir lending a hand in the back, it didn’t take much time for Zara and her team to be cleared, which was a relief.
Zara squinted her eyes as she looked at the glaring sun that greeted them, completely different from where she was coming from.
This side was summer, while where she came from was winter. Very strange and yet normal.
She didn’t have many summer clothes. In fact, she barely wore them as her body was always cold and required her to keep warm all the time.
So, when she was greeted by the sun, she didn’t feel that much affected but simply accepted what was going on.
Besides, it wasn’t like she was going to bask in the sun. There was no way she planned on becoming tanned. She loves her pale skin a lot. It had accompanied her for decades, after all.
Apart from the glaring sun, Amir was there to pick her up, so the sun was trashed to the side as she scanned him from head to toe.
This was the first time that she had seen Amir dressed in such an outfit. It made him look like an immortal, and her lips kept on curving upward.
Amir was wearing a tunic and sandals, and with the prayer beads in his hands, it could be seen that he must be from a temple. His attire and demeanor reminded her of what she saw in the dreams. She couldn’t help but smile.
"You look better this way!" she couldn’t help but praise loudly, a proud smile on her face.
Rather than seeing him wearing suits and jeans, this kind of dressing was better.
