Chapter 610: Chapter 608: GAEL’S GIFTS

Auntie Grace wasn’t a newcomer in Frin City. In fact, she has a relative who stays in Garden View Complex. So, she understands a bit about the real estate of the city.

She hadn’t been to the Dragon Court. After all, she knew no heir who lived there. That was a place for the big six families, or rather three of them since there were just three mansions there.

Of course, there were several other places that mattered, like the Cherry Court, which amazingly was the complex she was seeing right now. She didn’t have a clue that Diamond lived in such a place.

When the car finally parked in the garage, Auntie Grace felt like she was finally at peace.

Diamond brought Auntie Grace to the bedroom that the twins were using during their stay.

After showing her the room, she and Auntie Grace both went downstairs to help Auntie Janet with the suitcases.

The suitcases were taken upstairs and Auntie Jane excused herself, as she needed to prepare for supper. The clock was ticking and in two hours or so, Ma and Pa Perry would be arriving. Garnet was used to returning late daily.

Inside the bedroom, Auntie Grace and Diamond were seated as they chatted happily, especially when the topic revolved around Gael and the present.

"This son of mine, hehe, forgive him for not coming. He is just too busy; it makes me feel worried."

Diamond waved her hands dismissively a smile on her face as she said, "It’s fine, Auntie. We are all busy, so it’s understandable. What did he send for me?"

She was very curious about the present.

Auntie Grace, seeing that she didn’t mind, heaved a sigh of relief before plastering a smile on her face.

"I am not sure what it is. I didn’t dare open it. But you can check it out," she responded smilingly as she pushed a small suitcase to Diamond’s side.

Diamond was at a loss as she looked at the suitcase being pushed to her. She thought that she was going to see a wrapped gift in the box but never thought that it would be a whole suitcase, even if it was just a small size.

Nonetheless, she grinned happily as she pulled the suitcase to her side.

Auntie Grace smiled relievedly, seeing how ecstatic this rich potential daughter-in-law of hers was. She doesn’t know what her son bought and what was in there. However, she sincerely hoped that he wouldn’t let her down or embarrass her.

She had traveled from afar not to be embarrassed.

’Son, weren’t you doing just fine?’ she wanted to cry but no tears could be found.

At this moment, Auntie Grace was looking at the ceiling, pretending that she wasn’t in the room.

’How could he buy me a puzzle? Does he want to make my head ache?’

She had never played with such puzzles before. Where could she find time to do so?

However, that didn’t mean that she hadn’t seen others playing with them. They were so time-consuming and piecing together puzzle by puzzle until the puzzle was completed. Who knows when she will be done?

Nonetheless, she still needed to know what the puzzle pieces would make once the pieces were joined together.

Diamond could only continue with gritted teeth to check the manual instructions, as well as seek for the picture. These puzzle pieces usually bring pictures to show what they expect to see once the puzzles are brought together.
