Leaving that category, there was the food and beverage industry, which was still lagging at the moment. However, she was quite loaded with recipes.
She has dessert recipes which she gave to the café, though they weren’t all. There were rice recipes and stew recipes. Not only that, but she got a Gesalsi snack recipe book as well. Those recipes were enough to open a restaurant or a few more.
After all, she could just open a Gesalsi related restaurant independently. Knowing her fan base, she didn’t have to worry about customers as long as she advertised the business.
So, opening several restaurants wouldn’t hurt. Moreover, when it comes to drinks, there was the peach wine she hadn’t yet started making and the Immortal Dew, which she was certain would drive everyone crazy once they tasted it.
Going through the list, Diamond once again saw the importance of starting a restaurant. She wrote that down in the diary. She was going to work on this project once she was back from seeing her parents.
The other rewards were consumables and didn’t relate to any businesses. However, amidst the planning, she remembered that she was going to open a bank.
It seems that she would need to find the right people for that. However, she didn’t plan to stress herself with that matter. Raya would surely help with that, right?
She didn’t plan to build something exaggerated since the HQ of the bank wouldn’t be in the CBD, but on that piece of land she recently acquired. So, there wouldn’t be much reason to go overboard.
After checking everything, Diamond finally heaved with relief. She should be done, right?
That’s what she thought before she received a call as she was checking which clothes to wear later, since she was having dinner with Waylon.
When she saw the ID caller, she suddenly facepalmed and scolded herself.
How did she forget about these people?
She could only take a deep breath before answering the call, "Will, I have been expecting your call!" and with shameless, outrightly lied.
How could she have been expecting the call when she had forgotten about the matter, with how busy she was?
[I am sorry for the delay. There were a few issues we needed to settle. So, it took longer than we thought and ended up not coming in time.]
These people were supposed to arrive at the start of the month, but that arrival had been delayed until now. Diamond couldn’t help but wonder how Admire must be feeling. After all, she promised him that she would send him some people, but the people never showed up.
Thank goodness Will was finally coming.
"If it is solved, then I am at ease. When are you coming?"
[We will be boarding tomorrow’s flight. We will be there the day after tomorrow. According to the flight’s time, we should be arriving before lunch. But I will communicate.]
"Okay, that’s good. I will come and pick you up in person when the time comes. I will have your residence prepared."
[Thank you, my lady.]
The two chatted for a while before the call ended. When the call ended, her expression turned sullen as it dawned on her.
Where were her ghost merchants going to live?
Suddenly her mind started reeling, searching for an answer, and as she did so, Waylon’s call jolted her back to reality. However, that call brought her an answer.
Her eyes lit up as she found where to put these people, and that brought her relief.
No longer filled with anxiety, she cheerfully picked up the call.
"Hey!" she coquettishly answered, a smile on her face.
[Babe! How are you doing?] Waylon’s pleasant voice rang in her ears.
"Doing pretty well, and you?"
[Just missing you!]
Diamond giggled when she heard that, feeling flustered at his spoken words. They were just ordinary words, and yet when spoken out loud, her heart felt giddy.
This feeling was quite peculiar, and she liked it.
The couple chatted for a while, and Waylon confirmed that Diamond was still up for that dinner date with him. Once that was confirmed, he promised to come and pick her up. Diamond didn’t decline.
After the call ended, she called Auntie Janet and informed her not to prepare her share for dinner. Once that was done, Diamond’s thoughts returned to the matter of housing the ghost merchants. However, this time, unlike before, she had an idea of where to place them.
And it was all thanks to Waylon’s call.
