Frin City
"Your smile, my sunshine on a rainy day,
In your laughter, all my troubles would sway."
After sending off Diamond to the airport, Waylon was driving back, thinking of going home to see his mother, and tell her about the matter he discussed with Diamond earlier.
However, that plan got disrupted when his phone rang, and upon checking the caller, his lips twitched.
"Why is he calling?" he mused as he pressed the answer button, and a few seconds later, a raspy voice sounded.
[Man, did you send them off?]
Waylon chuckled wryly at hearing that question.
If he was that worried, then why didn’t he do something about it?
However, when he thought about what happened a few days ago, Waylon could only swallow his words.
"Um, they are gone. Wanna meet?"
[Um. I will appreciate that,] the person sounded tired and Waylon could only sigh, thinking to himself why the other was being stubborn when he was spiraling like that.
As a result, Waylon changed his route and drove to Sean’s villa, where he found him in a bad state with several empty bottles of wine lying around.
Waylon could tell with a glance that it hasn’t been easy for Sean but should it really be that serious?
"Man, if you continue to wallow like some widow, you might truly find the world at its end!" he couldn’t help but chide as he kicked Sean ruthlessly without any mercy making Sean wince in pain.
"Man! Shit! That hurts!" Sean cussed as he withdrew his leg while glaring at Waylon but Waylon simply sneered at Sean and threw a, "You deserve it!"
Since when did his friend, who didn’t bat an eye lash even after getting caught two-timing went?
How come he became a coward after a little chiding?
Even he, the person who was forced to listen to the harsh words from Diamond, was in a good mood. So why was Sean acting as if the world had ended?
Waylon just couldn’t understand it.
Waylon was no saint and didn’t bother to clean up after his friend. He can only comfort but pamper, that was not his business at all.
So, he sat comfortably on the couch across Sean and looked at the wallowing man with disdain and Sean lashed out at him with grievance.
