SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS novel Chapter 990

Chapter 990: Chapter 987: DINNER DATE WITH ZARA

Upon hearing that, Zara’s unsettled mind finally settled.

’Yes, there is no way the owner would be so relaxed to leave such expensive art without any protection!’ thinking like that, Zara’s lips curled upwards, smiling relievedly.

"That’s good then!" she said, clapping her hands as she looked at Diamond and instructed, "Then let’s see more. I am at ease now!" her words were smooth and relaxed as if she had known Diamond for decades.

Emma and Avan both looked at each other before looking away. Even they weren’t fools to believe what Diamond was saying. Something about her made them think and believe that she had something to do with the manor.

After all, even if a guest is a VIP, weren’t the rights a bit too much?

Anyway, that wasn’t any of their business. As long as Zara has a great time, the rest they can pretend to not notice.

With Zara back in the game, Diamond started showing Zara the gallery in earnest.

The gallery had art pieces such as paintings, sculptures, vases, and statues. And each one of them had a significant history which would wow those who saw it.

Each piece was very rare, precious and qualified to even be at the national museum. Unfortunately, what is privately owned can’t be forced to be handed to the nation. After all, everything was acquired legally. So why confiscate private property?

Among the art pieces that Zara saw and was wowed by, she took a liking to a few of them.

One of the pieces was the golden statue which caused a lot of ruckuses in the broadcast. Apparently, it was a monkey statue made by an unknown, since the statue didn’t have a signature, and it was gold from head to toe.

Not certain how much gold was used, Zara could tell that if a person got hold of this statue, that person could live his life in luxury without lamenting and yet it was collecting dust here.

The second item was a necklace made from seven kinds of gems, looking like a rainbow product. It looked very luxurious and a jewelry piece which could cause chaos if worn outside.

What made this necklace very pleasing to her eyes was the fact that every piece of gem was precious and mixed well with the others. There was her favorite gem, the alexandrite, followed by gems such as diamond, pearl, ruby, sapphire, emerald, and topaz.

It was a necklace which Zara herself didn’t even know how to tag a price on. When she was baffled by such a luxury item, she couldn’t help but notice that Diamond didn’t seem to be fazed by it.

It was as if she was looking at an ordinary piece of jewelry. Just what kind of background did she have?

Zara, for the first time, couldn’t help but be curious this time.

If she were to ask, Diamond would be forced to think about the day she raided the secret passages.

Most of the art pieces in the GEM gallery were all thanks to that ambitious apocalyptic person who unfortunately didn’t get what he wanted.

Thanks to him, she became richer and got some goodies to make her manor a must-be place to visit once in a lifetime.

After the gallery tour, Zara was numb to how a person could be so rich and yet be so nonchalant about it.

Her family was rich, and that was something undisputed, and yet after this tour, she suddenly felt like a pauper.

’Who could be so rich to do such things like this?’ that was the question which haunted her as she left the entertainment building later that day, wondering if it was possible to meet the owner, not knowing that she was walking with her right now.

Fortunately, there was Diamond, a great co-guest and very entertaining, so her thoughts were quickly calmed and all curiosity thrown out of the window.

After the tour, Zara needed to take a rest, so Diamond didn’t need to continue following them anymore. However, before separating, Zara got to see where Diamond was living, which was fortunate.

At least after the nap, she could still search for Diamond, and the two exchanged contact information, which was easier and more convenient.

After bidding farewell to Diamond, Zara went back to her building where it didn’t take long before she dosed off. She was tired and taking a rest was a must.

After taking a three-hour nap, by the time she woke up, it was time for dinner and her stomach was grumbling.

When Zara asked about dinner, after freshening up, the answer she received from Emma was that. "Miss, lady Diamond had invited you for dinner. She said to inform you when you are awake!"

hearing that Diamond was treating her to dinner, Zara scrunched her nose for a second before her eyes lit up.

"Sure, take me to her!" since the other had already prepared, there was no reason for her to not go.

She also trusted her people. There was no way they would let Diamond prepare food she couldn’t eat. There was Quinn and he was very protective, so she was at ease and didn’t feel wary of her.

When Zara finished, Garnet looked at Emma and Ava, who had followed Zara and said, "My lady would like to have a private chat with your Miss. So, if you don’t mind, how about we go to the main restaurant? My lady already had a feast prepared for you!" her tone was overbearing and leaving no room for arguments.

Upon hearing that, the two ladies looked at each other for a brief moment before they turned to face Garnet, ready to say something as their fists were clenched.

But before they could say anything, Zara’s voice sounded. "I will be fine here. Just go and relax. Big sis, won’t harm me!" urging them to go.

She didn’t know why she was eager to have this dinner with Diamond privately without anyone watching her, but she had this inkling that if she didn’t do so, she might regret it for the rest of her life.

She still remembered what the blind seer once said: ’Follow your guts. You are a blessed child and the goddess hasn’t forgotten you.’

Since the goddess protected her, she trusted her fully. And this person emitted a familiar aura which made her feel as if she was facing the goddess, though she was certain that there wasn’t any relationship between Diamond and her goddess.

However, since her guts and instincts were saying something else, then she needed to check personally why it was happening like that.

When the two heard that, they wanted to say something, but when they saw that glare from Zara; they shrank and took deep breaths before facing Garnet who was still waiting with a smile on her face.

"Let’s go then!" Emma said, giving Garnet a glare before starting to walk away.

With Emma moving already, Ava hmphed at Garnet before following leaving Garnet scoffing before she followed as well.

Zara watched helplessly as the relationship between the three ladies didn’t seem to be starting on a good note. Nevertheless, she put them aside and concentrated on the other side of the room, wondering what kind of delicious food Diamond was making.

’Wait a minute! Was Diamond really cooking?’ that realization suddenly sank in surprising her to the fullest.

That beautiful lady could cook. How was that possible?

Zara was so startled by this thought that she found herself wheeling all the way to the kitchen, only to find herself stuck in her tracks as she looked at Diamond, who was flipping a pan of vegetables, looking very relaxed with her actions.

"You can’t help but be curious, can you?" then a teasing remark came, making Zara wish that the floor could swallow her up.
