Since You Chose Your 'Bro' I Married Your Brother novel Chapter 21

Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Item #1. Starting bid: one million dollars. Minimum bid increment: one hundred thousand.

Gianna stood at the auctioneer’s podium, looking smug.

Her eyes full of contempt as she looked at the influencer on stage.

But when Carter raised his paddle, a flicker of jealousy crossed her face.

I was watching the comments fly by on the livestream when my phone buzzed with a message from Carter.

Do you even make this much sleeping with old guys? This is probably like ten roundsworth for you, right?

If you come over right now, get on your knees, and apologize, I might consider giving you another chance.

I laughed out loud.

Did a donkey kick Carter in the head or something?

Could he be any more full of himself?

What, rich families don’t have daughters?

Besides, my family’s wealth makes the Westbrooks look like pocket change.

A second later, the livestream got shut down.

Meanwhile, at the Westbrook estate, Carter’s father, Vincent Westbrook, received a phone call.

His face went white.

The moment he hung up, he called Carter.

But Carter was too busy flirting with Item #1, and with how loud the party was, he didn’t even notice his phone ringing.

A few minutes later, Vincent stormed into the villa with a team of security guards, kicked the door open, and marched inside.

He grabbed Carter by the collar, yanked him off the couch, and slapped him hard across the face.

Everyone froze.

Gianna screamed and ran over.

Who the hell do you think you are?! You just hit Carter! Do you have a death wish?!

But she didn’t notice that the moment she said that, every other guy in the room looked at her like she’d just signed her own death warrant.

Slap!

Carter backhanded her across the face.

That’s my father!

Chapter 3

Glanna’s legs gave out

She nearly collapsed, stammering apologies.

SirI’m so sorryI was just worried about Carteri dain’t mean to please don’t be mad-*

Vincent glanced at Gianna, his expression sour.

This is the kind of person you keep around?

Seeing Carter getting grilled. Ganna made a desperate move.

She started slapping herself over and over, apologizing between hits.

Sir. I’m sorryit’s all my faultplease don’t blame CarterI swear I’ll never speak out of turn again-*

Seeing this, Vincent’s expression softened slightly.

Then he looked around the room

What the hell are you doing here?

Still embarrassed from being slapped in front of everyone. Carter muttered:

Just messing around.

Hearing that casual tone, Vincent raised his hand againthen stopped himself, shaking with frustration.

Look at what you’ve done!

He shoved his phone in Carter’s face, showing him a screen recording of the livestream.

Carter’s face went pale.

Where did this come from?

Seeing his son’s genuine confusion, Vincent realized Carter had been set up.

Think. Who have you pissed off recently? Whoever’s behind this isn’t some nobody.

Carter thought for a moment.

Then, the most unlikely answer hit him.

He slowly turned and looked toward where I’d been sitting.

But I’d already left the villa before Vincent even arrived.

Right now, I was sitting in my car, watching the whole thing unfold through the hidden cameras.

I live by one rule:

If you mess with me, I’ll make sure you pay a hundred times over.
