Chapter 151 Brothers at a Crossroads

Darius eventually turned his attention to Estelle, and fear slowly crept up his face

“Mr. Norwood, aren’t they gorgeous? Not even celebrities can compare to them!”

Jasper chuckled.

Darius forced a shallow smile. “If you don’t mind your entire family getting slaughtered, go ahead and try.”

“What?”

Jasper- and everyone else — stared at him, completely thrown.

“Mr. Norwood… is there something special about those two women?” Jasper blurted, confusion growing.

Darius pointed to the photo of Estelle and Sylvie. “One of them is an heiress from the Imperia elite circle. The other is the mayor’s daughter. None of you can afford to anger any of them.”

Sharp inhales filled the room.

The laughter died instantly. A chill ran through the group.

No one had imagined two beautiful women could carry that kind of weight.

There was certainly an air of refinement about them.

They were not women, mere heirs like these men could lust over.

Darius’ eyes narrowed as he studied the blurred figure between them. “I’m more interested in him. Who is the man standing between two heiresses like that?”

A faint glint flashed in his eyes.

Just then, a man rushed in. “Mr. Norwood, we spotted your brother in the pedestrian zone. Do you want to take a look?”

Silence fell.

Every man in the room looked up in astonishment.

Even Darius looked up in curiosity.

“Who? Evan?”

“Yes.”

Upon hearing the name, Jasper and the others laughed.

They all belonged to the same social circle in Silverton, and they all followed Darius’ lead.

They all ran in the same Silverton circle and followed Darius’ lead. Of course they knew the Norwoods’ messy past-and the feud between the two “brothers” who weren’t even related.

Darius didn’t react much. “Are you sure it was my brother? You didn’t mistake someone else for him?”

In his opinion, Evan should be holed up in his home, too scared to even step out of the door.

After all, his orders had led to Evan being accused of stealing the drakeblood gemstone.

After that, no criminal would wander around as if nothing had happened.

Hence, Darius found that it was rather likely the man was mistaken.

“I’m absolutely sure,” the man insisted. “It really was Evan.”

Shock flashed across Dartus’ face.

If Evan was walking around right now, it meant one thing he wasn’t treating the drakeblood gemstone issue as a threat at all.

Perhaps there was more going on.

‘Did the Solberg family kick Evan out?’ he wondered.

To confirm what was going on, Darius decided to personally check things out.

As the photos and videos were censored by the Cortex Team, no one knew that Evan was the man who held hands with two gorgeous beauties.

Darius didn’t even consider that possibility.

After finally sending Estelle and Sylvie away, Evan wandered without direction, paying no attention to the people around him.

Just as he was about to check his luck for finding cultivation texts that day…

A sharp whistle cut through the air behind him.

Evan turned and saw a line of racing cars rolling up fast.

It looked flashy-almost theatrical.

Assuming he was in their way, Evan started to step aside.

Suddenly, the driver of the car at the very front floored the pedal, driving straight for Evan.

Just as the vehicle was about to hit him, it swerved around him in a graceful arc.

Then another did the same. Then another.

Dust and wind blasted over him, leaving his clothes in a mess.

The car doors opened.

A group of young heirs stepped out and moved in, surrounding him.

Evan didn’t even look at them. His gaze fixed on someone standing behind the group-someone who made his gaze turn colder by the second.

At the back was a man staring right at him, a mocking smile in his eyes.

Evan would recognize that face no matter what. His “younger brother”-not related by blood, but the true Norwood heir- Darius.
