Chapter 177 The Crown Prince Arrives
Instead of Cain, the young man before them was strikingly handsome.
His face looked like it had been carved with a sculptor’s touch, each plane sharp and flawless. His eyes shone with a piercing glint, making everyone instinctively look away in discomfort and awe.
An unmatched aura of authority radiated from him. Even a casual glance from the corner of his eye was enough to cause everyone in the Norwood family to stop breathing.
“It’s him?” James suddenly seemed to realize something. His expression changed drastically.
“Dad, do you know him?” Alice asked, forcing down her terror.
“No, but I’ve heard of him. He’s Mr. Solomon’s son.”
A collective gasp rippled through the crowd.
“Mr. Solomon’s son?”
Alice and the others were stunned. The news they had received said Cain would be coming in person. Instead, his heir had arrived.
“That’s right,” James continued, his tone turning grave. “But don’t underestimate him just because he’s Mr. Solomon’s son. He can represent Mr. Solomon himself.”
He paused before adding solemnly, “His name is Gabriel. They call him the Crown Prince. He’s the top prodigy in Silverton. He’s a monstrous genius. He excels in both brains and brawn. There isn’t a field he isn’t good at.
“Mr. Solomon is already the strongest in all of Silverton, but Gabriel has surpassed him.”
The words hit like thunder.
In short, he was a born ruler. A future overlord destined to dominate his era.
As Gabriel stepped out of the car, four towering figures silently appeared behind him at some point, looming like mountains.
They were the Solomon family’s four martial servants. Their strength was unfathomable.
They usually stood behind Cain to ensure his safety. Yet, they were now assigned to Gabriel.
That alone proved he had come in Cain’s stead.
“Mr. Gabriel, welcome to Silverton!” the Norwoods shouted again in unison.
“Oh? It’s the Norwoods?” Gabriel’s lips curved into a faint smile when he saw who had come to greet him.
“You should know why I came to Silverton,” he said, looking down at them with a gaze both amused and pitying. And you still dared to show up?”
“We understand,” James said quickly, nearly bowing until his face almost touched the ground. Josephine and the others followed suit. “But our conscience is clear!”
“This matter had better have nothing to do with you.”
A cold light flickered in Gabriel’s eyes.
“I came to Silverton on my father’s behalf for two reasons. First, to reclaim the real drakeblood gemstone. Second,

to punish the one who stole it and swapped it out.”
As he spoke, his aura surged outward. An invisible pressure bore down on everyone present.
James and the others felt as if they might faint. Still, they hurried to respond, blurting, “Please rest assured, Mr. Gabriel! Not only are we not involved, but we’ve also taken the initiative to capture the culprit, Evan, for you!”
The words landed like a bombshell.
Gabriel’s expression shifted.
“What did you say? You’ve already captured Evan?”
“Yes! He’s at Norwood Residence right now. You can take him away immediately!” James wore a fawning smile
Gabriel studied them for a few seconds before chuckling. “You know how to get things done. You’ve saved me quite a bit of trouble.”
The praise nearly made James and Josephine scream in delight. Alice and the others were just as thrilled.
Darius had been right. They would win the Solomon family’s favor by imprisoning Evan.
“We shouldn’t waste time,” James said eagerly. “Let’s head to Norwood Residence at once. Mr. Gabriel, this way.”
Gabriel did not refuse. He walked straight to the Norwoods‘ car and got in.
The Norwoods were ecstatic. After all, his reaction had made it clear to them that not only had they cleared themselves of suspicion over the drakeblood gemstone and secured their family’s safety, but they had also managed to curry Cain’s favor through Gabriel.
