Chapter 318 New Target
The three tacitly agreed with Nightingale. Then, she added, “But someone’s going to leak everything about the Iron Dragon and the Queen of Finance. They’ll set things up so all three are gathered. We can take them all at the same time.”
The other three were excited. The Stantons were their prey, so they weren’t going to give up now. Still, who was their tipper? And how would they set it up so the three Stantons would gather?
The Stantons were all powerful people. Only people with more power could arrange such a thing.
Nightingale looked at her team members coldly. “That’s not something you should question. The mission is our only priority.”
The team of four disappeared soon enough.
Butcher asked, “What’s the new mission?”
Nightingale answered, “We’re killing Gabriel Solomon.” She handed Butcher a tablet that showed Gabriel’s information.
At the same time, Gabriel was in his suite at Rissington Hotel. He, too, had made progress. His underling handed a report to him. “We’ve found it, sir!”
Gabriel took a look and laughed loudly. “I knew it! He’s already estranged from the Solbergs!”
The document was proof of Evan’s estrangement. He’d changed his name back to Norwood. That was the secret the Solberg couple desperately tried to hide. They wanted to shield Evan from Cain’s wrath even after the divorce. The couple thought the secret could stay hidden for a long time, but Gabriel had managed to squirrel it out. Bloodlust filled Gabriel’s eyes. “The b*stard would rather give his blood 100 times if it meant he could leave those three. He’d never stay with the Solbergs. They’ve been lying to us!”
The Four Martial Servants radiated an earth-shattering aura. “Let’s do it, Mr. Gabriel! We could’ve killed him a long time ago! This is long overdue! And we’re taking down the Solbergs too!”
“Let’s go, then.” Gabriel couldn’t wait another minute. He and his servants were about to go when a wave of
power blasted the door open before they could leave the room.
In came four figures in black. They were of different ethnicities, but they shared the emblem of a black sun.
“Who are you?” the Martial Servants demanded.
The quartet said nothing. Instead, they sneered at them like they were prey.
The Martial Servants were enraged. “I asked you a question. If you try to hurt Mr. G-”
The woman raised a hand, and a Martial Servant’s head fell to the ground. It was terrifying. Blood spurted out from the stump like a fountain and splattered on Gabriel’s face.
They couldn’t believe this. Gabriel was shaking, his eyes glossed over in fear. That Martial Servant was a Master, and he was decapitated with just a flick of the unknown assailant’s wrist.
